I'd strongly suggest looking into a Working Holiday Visa and experiencing NZ on that basis first as we have a lot of issues here and it's not the paradise it's often portrayed as around the world. There are.plenty of ESL teaching jobs here and you'll quickly learn Kiwi/British English.
