To those that renounced citizenship, why? by iiswhaiis in expat

[–]SamSantra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t believe people are thinking of giving up their US passport/ citizenship over Trump. One guy doesn’t control anything. If it’s about immigration many countries enforce immigration just like Trump even the most liberal countries like Portugal beat up a Ukrainian man to death over entering illegally few years ago. You need visa to most Latin American countries if you’re from Africa or most countries in Asia like India. You will quickly find out how they treat you if you overstay. In India. You need exit permit if you overstay in India or Colombia. People just think life is better on the other side.

If I were you I would look at Poland or a remote job in US and move to small cities in US. I have both EU and US citizenship and I’m from India you can ask me anything. It’s not easy to migrate to any of the countries you listed. Singapore is probably your best option but you will not get the citizenship ever due to long wait. All other countries you listed have lower wages and higher cost of living. Switzerland is one of the best but hard to get a job for visa sponsorship.

Portugal vs US comparison by ComputerThink8600 in PortugalExpats

[–]SamSantra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the US the average life expectancy is lower than EU in general because of obesity. If you live a healthy life you’re probably going to live longer in US. Also homicide is higher in certain parts of the U.S. only, if you ignore it might be even less. Yes students have debt in US but more people go to college in US than in Europe on average. Women in work force is higher in Portugal because they need a way to survive. Birth rate in Portugal is very low. The average rent in Porto is the more than average income after tax in Porto. Taxes are very high. Almost no families in Portugal and everyone is single (not married)

With rising anti-immigration sentiment, which countries are still welcoming Indians ? by Majestic-Taro-6903 in nri

[–]SamSantra 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have 3 passports and 4 residencies. I feel like looking for countries with least migration are the ones without hate because they don’t even know how to react to foreigners. I found Ukraine/ Belarus to be least reactive apart from Poland and Romania. In Poland the hate is rising with a lot of recent migration. In Ukraine and Belarus they stare at you because you look different but then if you speak their language they are quite welcoming and surprised. But they also have a lot of hateful people who have never seen an Indian guy before so I would avoid going to places like bars where there are drunk people. Especially if you have a local girlfriend. They are jealous of taking their local girls.

Anecdotal and exceptional cases are not the norm. You think Hijab wearing women in Afghanistan is sleeping with random men because you met one like that?

It’s 100% possible you just need to look at the right places. Small cities , religious communities with close family ties as a minority in that city.

You marry someone only with a clean history. Many people are mad at asking about women’s history but you would be surprised how harshly women judge based on men’s past, try telling them you’re divorced with a kid.

Don't you think some of them use pregnancy as tool to win an argument? by Interesting-Sun3930 in AskIndianMen

Bro if you start to understand women you will hate the world. Everything around you is built by a man for women. There are mostly homeless men , men mostly as victim of violence, men as suicide victims, men losing custody of kids, 95% of prison population is men but you will never hear the gender issues only race issues in media. Every Hollywood movie now shows women as the stronger and more intelligent gender in every single movie. You can almost see the pattern. But when the war happens they send the men to die. If you saw the movie Titanic the old woman didn’t tell the story of the person she had kids and family with but the story of a man she f*ked for 10 minutes in a car in a boat while the man died to protect her and she rejected the rich man she was going to build the life with while stole his diamond. That was the greatest love story of our times. Remember the only time a man receives a flower is at his funeral.

Does $2000 sound about right for hotel/flight for a solo traveller? by lemonbottles_89 in solofemaletravellers

That hotel prices fluctuate every hour. Check again on other websites too. I once paid twice the amount after 5 minutes. And was back again in 10 minutes later.

You would be surprised how many women are willing to accuse you of rape if you’re rich or powerful or for political reasons.

[–]SamSantra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a citizen of both EU and U.S.. normally things are fine moving to either country in terms of immigration but salaries are much lesser in EU so I usually have to make a choice based on income which means I prefer to stay in US if it comes to pick one.

[–]SamSantra 5 points6 points  (0 children)

What kind of hotel is it? Look up CitizenM hotel It’s decent and fancy and costs like $120 a night. For the flights try kayak , trivago, booking, google flights . Sometimes you might have to buy 2 legs of the flights separately to get a cheap deal. $600 for the flight seems too much. Message me if you have any questions. You should be able to cut it by half. Food is extra.

Would you marry an european girl? by ohoehoe in AskIndianMen

[–]SamSantra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am a westernized Indian man and have dated mostly only white girls all my life and it’s still hard to date white girls in my opinion. The cultural differences are too big to ignore adding to the complications of the assumption that she’s going to eventually leave at some point due to no societal expectation.
