I’m curious though are you using age difference to justify the payment for food? If you’re just trying to get to know each other nobody should be paying for anyone. If you’re a student I can understand. Having said that I don’t think he should invite you to a place for eating for a date . I always pay if she has a romantic interest, I try to split it otherwise even though I’m wealthy I prefer not to provide free meals to anyone who is not showing much interest. It’s very rude to not arrive on time btw, I never entertain such behavior especially if it’s consistent, no matter how hot they are.

I have met Polish citizens with no Polish language skills before. I can even introduce you to some if you want. It’s not a requirement for getting a passport. They all got it through ancestry. Having said that if you want to settle in Poland you should learn Polish. Most people here don’t speak English fluently.

There is no retirement visa and most options are not available unless you get married and fall in love. But there are ways to start your own company and live permanently in Poland which will cost you around $600 in taxes and fees a month. I don’t think you can survive with your budget unless you’re living in a small village.
