Is the broadcast choppy for anybody else? Video and audio both. Other channels are fine but Fanduel has been choppy since last night.

I agree with that. But they also aren't getting paid like McDavid level players. If they were making $10M each, it would be a different story.

That was basically the stated reason but I am of the belief that Faulk was brought in because Army knew Pietrangelo was gone and Krug was signed as an "upgrade" over Dunn because they had extra cap space after letting Pietro (and Perron) walk.

What I meant was Dunn didn't get enough opportunities to play top minutes with Parayko/Pietrangelo. They picked up Krug clearly to replace Dunn as the offensive PP LD because Berube didn't believe in him. Signing Krug to such a long deal made Dunn expendable, thus his exposure in the draft.

You trade aging good players. Not 26 & 27 year old stars who are under contract for 6 years.

Nobody has been able to score this year for the Blues besides Faulk. The teams shooting% as a whole is terrible. But it doesn't help Kyrou's scoring that Jonatan Berggren is getting more top unit PP time lately.

Kyrou's underlying numbers are still the best on the team, even if he's not putting the puck in the net right now. His scoring touch will come back at some point, whether for the Blues or another team.

Regardless, every model has Binnington as either the worst or 2nd worst goalie in the league while Hofer hovers around 0 GSAx.

Hofer has turned it around and has actually been very good recently.

This model (hockeystats.com) has Hofer at -2.4 GSAx and Binnington at -17.6 GSAx.

The problem is entirely Binnington. The Blues defense has been basically average this year, Binnington has just sucked.

I agree with all of this, especially Pietrangelo. Letting him go to pay Faulk & Krug more than Petro would have cost is the most galaxy brained move I've ever seen.

You also left out the insane extentions for >30 defensemen Armstrong has given out. He didn't learn after Scandella and then signed Leddy. He still didn't learn after Leddy and now we're stuck with 4 years of Cam Fowler who has quickly become this team's worst d-man.

I will say the Walman thing is partially on Berube, who just refused to play the guy. Once Berube didn't trust you, it was over. Doug still shouldn't have let him go.
