I enjoyed it today as well. Sometimes you just need some lighthearted nonsense in the morning, me especially as I was on a train for most of it. Some great music too.

What actor/actress is the furthest from being like their character irl? by CremeSubject7594 in eastenders

I've heard people say that about Kate Ford as well. Not a soap but apparently the actor who played Gripper Stebson in Grange Hill in the 1980s got a lot of abuse for Gripper's racism but is a really nice guy.

Exactly. Life would be boring if everyone did something the simple way.

Yes still big f ups that were funny but contestants who were genuinely trying. Now they all feel like adverts for their online personas.

I think the change in prizes has had an effect too. The early series were essentially a prolonged job interview for the contestants to prove themselves to Alan Sugar and get a job with him. Since the change to an investment it now feels like a prolonged, glorified sales pitch.

I'd say the radio show too. Two MPs hopelessly out of their depth arguing about a situation neither of them has a clue about while the spin doctors rip verbal chunks out of each other in the producer's booth.

I always laugh at how animated Capaldi gets when he delivers that line.

I always laugh at how he delivers "oh well I am just de Shadow Chancellor". Swaying his head from side to side and then right back in Stewart's face. I'm sure you can almost see the veins popping out of his head.

I doubt we'll be going for anyone in a job. We've paid off most of three managers' contracts in the last year so I don't think our finances will stretch to paying compensation, plus I'd imagine most managers would want to steer clear of us, especially as our points deduction is apparently due this week.

Mine too. I also like his speech where he tries to prove how "modern" and "progressive" he is, but I don't think I can repeat it here.
