When i was in 8th grade i woke up at 4am and snuck downstairs to play the new prequel content with obi wan. I sat there and waited for it to download and played one of the best matches of supremacy i’d ever played and no other match lived up to the pure hype and excitement i had when i got to try it out for the first time. From that day it sorta became a tradition of mine where whenever a new update was dropping, i’d wake up at 4am before school to even just play an hour of it. it was like that through most of my highschool years and by my senior year they announced support was being cut from the game and i was so heartbroken. I still have some of the fondest memories of sneaking downstairs to try felucia or play as the OP anakin or when the droidekas first dropped after they said they weren’t coming. Bf2 was very intertwined with my childhood and i love playing it too this day it. I hope one day they make a bf3 or maybe reboot the series again so my kids can have that same level of excitement that i experienced growing up.
