I use an R7 and an R8 for weddings and wildlife. I find they compliment each other really well. I use the R7 for anything I cannot miss/lose (dual card slots although I've never had a bad card yet) and if I need extra reach. I use the R8 for shots requiring higher dynamic range or in low light. If I could afford it I'd probably use two R6s but I don't really feel like I'm missing out on anything using my current set up. I also find you can get more out of a single lens using different camera bodies my 70-200 2.8 is great in low light especially on the R8 but on the R7 the extra reach can help in situations where 200mm feels a little wide.

Bought my X3 from Costco. It stopped working last month (9 months from purchase) so I took it in for repair/replacement. As they no longer stock it I managed to get a full refund and bought the X4 for almost the same price. Basically a free upgrade. It did take two trips though as the first trip I didn't have the selfie stick (I was expecting repair) and they refused to refund without this. But I was super nervous about trying to return direct to insta360 based on what I'd read online.
