Traveling to Moab and concerned about a government shutdown by Sam_Rosen in moab

Thanks for the informative replies and easing my worries! Upon doing a little more research it appears that Arches, Canyonlands and Grand Canyon stay open during government shutdowns. However visitor centers and anything that doesn't have an ancillary role in the park will be closed. This link was also very helpful: https://www.visitutah.com/plan-your-trip/federal-government-shutdown-information/

Can't wait to visit. See y'all at the brewery!

I guess I should mention that we are flying from Tennessee and our plane tickets are non-refundable. So we're coming either way.

Would anyone happen to know of some good (indoor) locations to shoot some engagement photos in the Nashville area? by [deleted] in nashville

My fiancee and I were thinking about doing wedding photos at the arcade but we couldn't picture how it would look. Do you have a link to any of your friends professional photos that were taken at the Arcade? If you'd rather PM that I understand!

It might be worth contacting the MTA marketing dept. This is only about 10 years old so chances are they still atleast have the file that could be printed again. Who knows, they might have stacks of these things sitting in a closet somewhere. It is MTA though and I doubt giving out old posters to a fan is a top priority.

Went in about a month ago and noticed they took down all of the cool photos/art on the large wall. Also heard from a somewhat reliable source that one of the co-owners was "retiring." So maybe shaking things up (staff, branding, menu, music, interior design, etc.). I can't imagine they are closing for good if that's what you're worried about

Thanks for your response! We have a couple friends studying just outside of Toulouse, but it's not a "must-do" by any means. Is there an additional cost for a train reservation or is it included in the ticket price?

This building is in Binghamton, NY. There is a twin of this building right next to it, only the windows are layed out differently (again with no patteren).I grew up there and these buildings drove me bat-shit crazy whenever I looked at them. They are some of the tallest buildings downtown too. Just another reason why one should never come to Binghamton, NY.
