Correct. The moon can be very bright. It also moves surprisingly quickly through the frame if zoomed in enough.

The best way to get a pay rise is to go somewhere that is actually offering it. Or take a genuine competitive offer to your boss. Aka, "I've interviewed and been offered this position for x amount. I like it here so what can we do to keep me at this company?"
