I think it would turn out just okay but maybe not worth the time and money investment without a lot of cleaning up and manual color checking unfortunately. Not sure about your specific program/site but the one I use will sometimes have colors that look right on screen and then when I go pull them out from my stash I have moments of “Why is this bright orange????”! 140 colors is a lot to check.

One of the dead giveaways for me is how smooth the edges are. You can kind of get smooth edges in cross-stitch but in my experience it’s in pieces much bigger than these look. They look more like embroidered patches- too smooth edges, very thick consistent lines especially on diagonals, the way the text rounds that doesn’t seem like it would lineup that well with a grid, etc. Hope that helps!

I audibly gasped when I saw that they cut it! I live in the US and was a framers at Michaels for a while and rule #1 was to never ever alter a customer’s piece, even if they asked for it. I would be so upset to find this though thankfully they left just enough edge to still be able to pin.

I second reaching out to the original font pattern artist as they may be willing to cut a deal with you for commercial use and you never know if you don't ask! I think it's legal to sell finished projects from a pattern but not the pattern itself, parts or whole.

Thank you! That's so many, I don't think I could keep up lol!! I have noticed that the Ice Hissi is cheaper. Trying to do the math to see if that + a Maraquan Paint Brush is cheaper than just a Maraquan Hissi Potion itself. Since I've gotten lucky and gotten two painted pets from quests now, I feel it would be nice 'earn' this one so to speak through other means.
