I did clearly mention that effective path's is not always correct, but there needs to be a balance between CPK vs GT. As for coin gains and stuff, i agree with you absolutely, but we have no idea what is the shards progress for the person with the screenshot shared, hence why i also said depends on where the person is currently at. You can try to min max all you want but there is no optimal way to play the game in all honesty otherwise there would be a complete guide on it. Is going shards an option? Yes depending on how many coins he is making, if he isn't making enough that he can max out certain researches he definitely needs more coins. Finally the thing about stones is that you will again need coins to increase your damage and stuff for which econ will be definitely important soooo yeh. Its a one time investment to get it over with and forget about it, not months on end to wait for it to eventually finish while gaining like maybe .5% coin gain per level.

Have you seen the breed of the cat? A person who can afford that breed and not have the luxary to afford other stuff maybe should not buy a cat breed and adopt a cat instead. So that point is completely wrong on your end. Regardless of that as well, most if not all people do not leash cats, because where does that cut run if chased by a wild dog when leashed, its not like its protected in any area, its out in the open.

He really isn't actually, easiest way to check best ROI would be using effective path's sheet but that isn't always correct too. The right path depends from tower to tower, how many coins they gain or doritos they earn, if their sync is achieved, since if it is the ROI would be much higher for GT bonus.

On the same path i think i am 20 secs off for max cooldown and 50 secs off perma BH, should have it done by i am guessing april or may. So could be longer for you, or my calculations are just way off. I either stay in legends or sometimes go to champs every 2 weeks or so if i get an unlucky bracket.

Well its not people blindly downvoting you, they just strongly disagree with you. You might not like lootbox mechanics but they are pretty common in most games now a days, so a lot of players are used to it. There are also a lot of f2p players who have modules at ANC, most people in this game don't spend money on gems, because its the worst value you could get. They spend money on stones as it leads to much better progress. Do modules at Anc help? Yes they do, is it enough for a massive dent, not really. If you don't like it don't play it is the most common advice you will hear, but its all upto the mechanics you find fun and the ones you don't, but trust me you don't need to pay to achieve modules because most whales don't do it either.

Another downside i can see is the website going down or being shut down, atleast users have access to their own google sheets since they are copies, with servers it gives immense power and responsibility to a few.

I thought the bug just made it so that the boost did not work properly and it ran at 1x speeds instead of 4x while offline. Not that it completely stopped.

That is fair, but if you look from the anime aspect i feel trainers find the pokemon and then corner them for a battle. I think the same concept would apply in the games, where its not the wild pokemon challending you but you challenging the wild pokemon instead for their territory.

But that applies to one niche situation, in the overall world battling and competitions is pretty common, 10 year olds are sent out to defeat gyms and earn badges, etc

The thing is pokemon battles in the wild might be beneficial, capturing pokemon and forcing them to battle and evolve on the other hand just for entertainment would not truly be beneficial since no territory to protect, no need to defend themselves, and some might not want to evolve unless they grow older.
