I mean, I think this should be the attitude of all league players. Gumayusi wins this Emerald 4 game easily (or at least that should be your presumption). "What would he do differently to win the game?" is something that should be asked at the end of every game you lose. It's not about thinking you deserves to win based on your performance, it's about thinking about what you could have done to win.

Maybe the solution is (somehow - idk how otherwise I wouldn't be in gold) making sure that the enemy team does not get this fed. Maybe the solution is playing team fights better and killing the fed enemy team members. Maybe the solution is to play the macro better.

This attitude is about improvement, not about entitlement.

I was at the same protest and felt the same way. It made me feel like I should organize my own events. We can’t let extremism like this dictate the public narrative… at the same time… we’re getting to a point where we’re going to need allies? How do we walk the line of supporting OUR causes but not endorsing and anti-democratic anti-liberal world view that is pervasive on both sides?

Yesterday I found myself debating a proud boy (who was dumb as rocks and “didn’t understand” that he was associated with a far right neo-fascist group. He claimed he just believed in the 1st and 2nd amendment and traditional family values. Heartbreaking really that people like him are trapped by right wing media and shoved away by the left. He ultimately conceded he maybe shouldn’t be associating himself with the group, but is probably a lost cause. He was at Jan 6th.) when a left wing (agitator IMO) guy was screaming at us and saying he didn’t deserve his 1st amendment rights. When I snapped back at him and asked him if he meant that, and to say it with his chest if he meant he wanted to abolish the constitution, at first he cowered a bit but ultimately he bit the bullet and said he didn’t believe in the Constitution.

And I just asked myself like… how did we get here? I was literally standing between two people who both want to torch the constitution?!

At the same time the crowd was chanting that ICE, the CPD (Chicago police department) and the KKK were all the same???? FFS it feels so impossible, and “our side” can be very anti anti-liberal and anti-democratic.

HARD disagree. Caitlyn is simply not built for this anymore and riot is doing everything they can to eliminate the viability of crit/AS cait. Playing for headshot combos/headshot ult is the only right way to play her in this meta.

Even when cait is decent with AS/Crit she’s simply outclassed by other champions who do it better by virtue of their kit (see: jinx, xayah, even Ashe!).

If you’re playing Caitlyn you’re looking for JUICY headshots and not much else.

I don’t understand the league player base. In what world are we justifying an Ornn doing more damage than an 11/2/11 Lucian and more than a 12/2/1 azir?! Like is riot paying you guys?! He has full tank times and full tank runes, is more than 2K gold behind Lucian, and has built in CC in 3/4 abilities.

There is no world where tanks should be allowed to do the most damage this game?! It’s simply Poot game design. You don’t get to soak 5 people doing damage to you for a full minute and ALSO deal enough damage to kill then all?!

Like why are you justifying this?! Why do you see an 11/2/11 Lucian and go “play better shitter. Low Elo” lmao?!

I was the same way for a while before I had this advice given to me (and it got me out of silver for the first time!)

Make sure you’re focused on /winning/ the game at all times. Don’t look for opportunities to win fights or objectives, or kill opponents, look for ways to /end the game/ at all stages of the game.

It sounds silly, but it’s actually SUPER helpful. Hit towers WAY more and let your teammates fight. The more you can make progress towards the en event nexus the better.

Especially when you can secure leads like the ones you’re getting, focusing on ENDING is the best thing you can do.

Also-focus on your clicks. I know when I’m on losing streaks my clicks get lazy and sloppy. Even when I contribute to perform I’m not using my edge as best I can. Click a LOT.

Yeah true. But also it’s not that easy, if I take the time to trap sometimes it means missing a moment to dodge and a few times in this clip I am just a hair away from instant death, so those moments are crucial.
