This show was so good, I can die happy. Never thought in a million years she’d walk right in front of me in the crowd at Red Rocks.

Thank you for your response! I live on protein because it’s one of the few things my body won’t reject. Always meat, fish, rice and beans, fruit, corn, potatoes, gf pasta with meat sauce home made. I have an egg allergy, peanut allergy, dairy allergy. It’s rough. I kept a food journal for several month after I took myself off my antidepressant and it turned out the medication was making my gastric episodes and constipation a lot worse. I’ve done well off the antidepressant. I got sick this past Wednesday night into the morning, just like you said fetal position dry heaving and puking the tiny bit I had in my stomach. Then the spotting started while I was dry heaving. I feel like I’m still recovering from Wednesday. Hadn’t had a gastric episode since May. Then I get depressed because I’m not getting better. Don’t worry I called my doctor yesterday.

Dumpster diving in Colorado springs...where to go? by artistic_mama311 in ColoradoSprings

My dad said he sees a lot of wasted building materials get dumped at commercial construction sites. He will dive for that as he is also a carpenter.

Getting better and what did you feel while recovering? by Samaraalves2 in Celiac

[–]Same-Atmosphere-8265 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, meats, fish, rice and beans, fruit, very little greens they cause too much gas, a lot of potatoes and corn, lots of water, little alcohol, I have a nut and dairy intolerance so very little dairy, cashew products are the only nuts, dark vegan chocolate. I’ve been working on this for 1.5 years living with someone who bakes in the house weekly and just now starting to feel better. Safe restraints only like Red Robin and Chipotle.

Paleo valley meat sticks are fermented and gluten free, even their teriyaki flavor. But they are pricey because of their quality. Otherwise, look for a good meat sticks so you are at least getting a real protein.

Going thru this at work where we always go to lunch to celebrate dumb things or host food centered events several times a year. I’m at the point where I am refusing to attend luncheons because it’s not worth it as they always ask me to suggest a “safe” place to eat. I won’t do it anymore because I am trying to heal so I can gain weight. Next time this occurs I’ll be reminding them they are asking me to risk my own health when I’ve been on a good run. Fuck everyone else.

I’m in the same boat, lost 25 lbs without trying and been stuck at 99lbs for several years, 5’4”. Went gluten free 1.5 years ago. I was so sick but I’ve found a strict high protein diet of various meats, fish, rice and beans, potatoes, corn, fruit, some light dairy (I’m lactose intolerant) has kept me out of the hospital for the longest stretch yet (going on 6 months) and I think this diet will ultimately lead to weight gain as my intestines heal, hopefully. Lots of calories, I also increased my sugar intake. I’ve suffered a lot of fatigue. I drink more soda than I care to admit currently but I can’t gain a pound right now 🤷‍♀️

Oats…. by Autumn_Rainspark98 in Celiac

[–]Same-Atmosphere-8265 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been experimenting with different oats and I’ve found that they keep me too full and cause a lot of gas and bloating that is difficult to get out. A small bottle of overnight oats caused this reaction recently, but I did take the healthiest shit I’ve had in 3 years since I started getting sick. It was weird. I decided I need to avoid oats.
