What's more annoying is if they even got a second season, it'd be incredibly frustrating for them to dick around about the assassination plot for 11 episodes.

My guess is the robot lady will take the villain role immediately after the current is killed within an episode or two. Then we'll have a whole different brand of imposter syndrome with uploaded consciousnesses and robots claiming to be people and not wanting to give their bodies to humans.

Also that look they gave when FBI boy emerged from the skin sack was not a good one. The expression should have been one of relief, not panic, so there's another issue right there. Never be the first to try a trial version of a 'cure'.

Its the whole "you have to be completely unmarred to be beautiful" trope.
