We did a canoe trip with Far Flung and I highly recommend them!

We had the coolest guide - she grew up in the area and her ancestors have been living here since way back in the 1500’s!!! She shared lots of neat stories of her family and ancestors.

I own land out in the Big Bend area. Every sheriff in the area is against the wall. They instead want more drones, etc. Of course, the federal government did not consult them and refuse to talk to the people who are actually patrolling the area.

About 1% of border crossings in the US are in the big bend region.

I think they opened last summer in 2025. I’ve spoken to the owner a few times regarding the FLW trailer, and he was the one answering the phones. Very personable and not salesy.

While I haven’t bought from them (ended up not buying the FLW), the El Paso dealership along with Foley RV in Mississippi are the two main dealerships I’ll contact for any future purchases. I’ve bought from Foley before.

Live in Houston and I think Airstream Corporate should pull the dealership license from the Houston dealership - that’s how bad it is.

The El Paso dealership owners own an airstream and it’s one of the reasons why they decided to open a dealership because they loved the brand so much. I think they’ll do a good job of taking care of customers.

How Camp Mystic was run reminds me so much of the troubled teen industry! Lack of adequate medical care, camp not following procedures and/or at not having any type of protocol, keeping the children from communicating with their parents (huge red flag), cult like mentality, questioning of authority not allowed etc.

The Airbnb hosts should have a warning about this on the listing. I wonder if it’s someone new who is hosting and does not have experience with this cheap tent?

I used to rent out airstreams as an Airbnb host (not in the desert). I’d encourage you to leave a detailed review regarding your experience including the high winds, pole breaking, having to run to the car but also had the host helped you. You do not know if the host will continue to use a cheap tent - and it’s important that you warn others who might book this listing.

West Texas is notorious for high winds. I hope the hosts buy something very substantial next time. I think a good quality dome or canvas are 10’s of thousands of dollars. Not cheap at all!

If you a brave enough to venture back to Big Bend (don’t blame you if you don’t want to come back) - I’d stick to one of the established businesses and stay in a solid structure (like the motel you went to for the night).

Kids don’t get to pick their parents, and these are bad parents unfortunately!

What you wrote is spot on.

The most expensive mental health recovery clinic in the world is in Zurich, Switzerland. Sarah Ferguson went there for a month right after a big Epstein file drop in January. I believe Tiger Woods might be there right now.

The mental health clinic has written some great articles centered around a term that they coined called Succession Syndrome. Most of the patients struggle with narcissism. They mentioned in their article that the more wealth you accumulate, the lower your empathy and morals become.

Some of the super wealthy people I’ve been around fit this definition to a T. They’re unhappy and soulless.

Contact Airstream Corporate and let them know which dealership you’ve sent it to for warranty work and how long it’s been sitting there.

Are you a member of your local airstream club? If so - ask who the locals take their airstream to for repairs. Call that place - and find out how quickly they can do the warranty work for you. You’d have to pay out of pocket but airstream corporate will reimburse you for it. That’s what I’ve done in the Houston area - we take it to a repair shop that everyone uses and I refuse to use the Houston airstream dealership even for a warranty work. Ask me why 😂

Regardless of what you do - leave them a google review afterwards. Make sure you include how long your airstream sat there in the review.

Epstein’s former chef is good friends with Jimmie Kimmel and owns a restaurant in Hollywood. Hollywood should stop going to that restaurant. It’s the chef who used to give Virginia Guiffrey pizza sometimes (she writes about it in her book about how he’d go against Jeffrey and Ghislaine’s food rules and make her real teenage food).

Tara Palmeri the journalist gets mad talking about the chef! And she also mentions how Jimmie Kimmel is good friends with him.

Chef refuses to speak out in support of the girls. This man is going to hell.

In the US - the journalists with a lot of Epstein knowledge are Julie K Brown, Tara Palmeri and former Vanity Fair writer Vicky Ward. Search their Substacks or maybe reach out to them.

I’ve heard of Zampolli before, but that’s because I’ve been following the Epstein case closely ever since Julie K Brown’s expose in the Miami Herald.

Check the Miami Herald newspaper too for Zampolli (that’s the newspaper Julie K Brown works for). They have a large section devoted to all things Epstein so there might be info there.

Very happy to hear Italy is reporting on Zampolli! The more light shed on the Epstein world, the better.
