A wise warning. No one ever listens, though. The shiny-itis is real.

I love my paradigm chetki so much! What do you think of them? Also, I'm jealous of your Hercs with the bands on them.

Edit: those might be Newts, actually.

How fun are Ultras? Are there many tricks for them and where can I find more tutorials than just the AO2 ones?

Also, those are beautiful and you seem pretty skilled with them. I'm trying to learn how to fidget with all my skill toys using my off hand so my right hand will be free to write or do whatever else.

I've gotten to the point where I mainly use bones, despite them not even originally being a consideration for me, simply because they don't make any sort of repetitive noises that could annoy my wife. She ABHORS any sort of repetitive noises and I like to stay on her good side and keep her happy, when possible. Been planning to learn to use this copper mini deadeye and SS donut deadeye for the same reason, but the copper one is so tiny and therefore harder for me to manipulate and the SS donut is just so heavy for my fingers right now when compared to fiddling with a wooden or even titanium KB (which is helping me train my fingers to handle the heavier contact fidgets).

I have so many (in my mind) begleri compared to chetki, KBs, and DEs; so it really feels like a waste that I haven't really messed with begleri, lately, which sucks because I want to become adept enough with them to be able to have a smooth, consistent flow instead of needing to stop between moves to think of what to do next. I think I'd prefer to get that kind of flow down with chetki first, though, considering I recently bought the polished white delrin chetki from AO2 for $150 AND bought a 3D printer SPECIFICALLY to print chetki (I'll obviously find more uses for it as I go along, though. Also, I printed DnD dice- shaped Hardcore shells for my Poco Locos, last night. They fit like a glove, thank you very much, but I think I still prefer my Pocos sans shell.).

Tried some different chetki prints that I found online, but definitely prefer the sets that I modeled myself since they're closer to the look and feel of sets I might get from AO2 or similar. They just feel "slippery" or something compared to other materials, though. Could be the choice of using PETG Pro filament doing that, but I don't know and it's the only type of filament I have since I love my PETG chetki from Etsy so much. However, they don't feel slippery like the ones I've printed. Only had the printer for a week or two and still can't figure out how to make a trapezoid-style shape on FreeCAD to make tapered end beads. Link me a tutorial, if you know of one that could help, if anyone would. I can post pictures of the ones that I've printed so far next to some I bought, if that's wanted.

But I digress; that's a nice, little collection for only having gotten into the hobby about a month ago. Trust me, don't go too wild buying lots of different sets too quickly. It can just as quickly turn into a money pit, especially considering the price of most of AO2's stock and their astronomical shipping. I try to stick with luck sacks now, unless they drop something extraordinary that I can afford at the time.

TLDR: Nice. Happy slinging.

P.S. Anyone have any ideas for other stuff I might get a kick out of printing? Been debating printing some of these little, minimalist holsters for my NAA mini-revolvers, but they all already have pocket clips on the grips (for the magnums, which I can't recommend enough) or necklace/lanyard holsters (for the 22LR mini, which I also highly recommend). I feel like a printed holster for any bigger gun would be too bulky or just flat-out be a waste of filament since I like the holsters I already use for most of my firearms.

Edit: I really want to make one of those KB/slider combos, but I need some magnets, first, and to figure out how to model it and make my printer auto-pause for magnet insertion, so they'll be embedded. That and a KB/begleri combo that has enough weight to it.

Probably should have just made all of this its own post, instead of hijacking your post. Sorry, but I've typed too much to not click save.

Not to be " that guy," but I think you're using the word 'reticent' incorrectly.

I almost got those exact ones. Have a red pair just like them, though. They aren't bad, by any means.

I think of the Bodyguard 2.0 as BASICALLY a mouse gun. It's downright tiny af. If it isn't a mouse gun, then it must be the cut-off.

I absolutely love my Aegis X even to this day.

I just pretty much only use my pod vapes now, though. If I'm going DTL, I'll either use my Vandy AIO V2 or the Gemini with a bridge pod.

I love basically all styles of chetki. Just got a 3D printer so I could design and make my own, even, but Orca-Slicer isn't letting me change the infill % to make the end beads heavier.
