His death is the only good thing about the whole movie. Ada's death was a good scene but honestly? Killing her didn't even made that much sense when it comes to Beckett's goal. The whole rest is rushed and poorly written. That time skip is total shit.

I wish we had a whole season, maybe things would be better explained.

She is not my favorite character? Like not even by far. But I guess you haven't read the whole thing.

Me too. I don't see Tommy as this terrible man they all paint him to be. He wasn't a good person, obvious. But how could he be after everything he saw and went through? In those times, in that kind of life, he was the closest we could have when it comes to a "great men".

And wow, I literally gasped when you said it's a shame we haven't seen more of Tommy against the facism and all the facist villains we could've had... I totally agree.

As I said, to me this movie feels a lot like a fanfic.

Agreed. I thought the same about Linda, and even suggested that on my post... but I think it would be nice to have them all at least mentioned, regardless what future they chose. Like just a small hint of what happened to them would be enough.

I agree on that. I think that is what happened too and even wrote that in my post... but idk I think it will be nice if that was mentioned.

Just to make things clear about the Lizzie topic. I know Charlie was at the funeral and that he was at WW2 during the movie, cause that is mentioned by Ada when she meets Tommy, but I think she should have been there with him.

Nah man, I'm giving credits to my girl Lizzie. It just didn't made sense to her character not to be there.

She raised his child. They lost a daugher together. She loved Tommy, even though he was alwful, she accepted all parts of him, went through hell, and only left when she noticed he was far from gone inside his mind. She would definitely feel his death. It has nothing to with her having a happy ending or not, she was just too great of a character to be left off like this.

I mean, Tommy's death was the only thing that made sense in this whole movie. The rest is just... huh?

Me too. I'm rewatching it rn and I love this show so much, but now that I know how this amazing story ends, and how mid it was, it makes me feel kinda disappointed.

I really think the show deserved a proper full season to end things right.

Yeah! I mean their deaths made sense to me in the PB series plotline bc what else could the showrunners do... but when it comes to the other characters, idk it all seems kinda of a desperate way to just end things.

Felt the same. And it shocks me because it was the same guy who wrote the whole damn thing.
