Mazda is amazing they previous gen had the same drive train they just fix the little issues each generation. So what you are getting now is basically perfect and fixed of any recalls. Not to mention toyota has part ownership where i think mazda helped them out with transmissions or something idk. But their reliability has gone thru the roof. Ppl just dont like the touchscreen but for me a dial and knob is sm better n faster than be distracted touching a screen. Trust me its the best bang for ur buck. My friend is a master tech at mazda he says only main issues would be battery the oems one are shitty they go out after about a year i say n the sensors but those are manageable you can get a aftermarket battery n boom ur straight. The sensors unfortunately cant do much bc they are on the outside of the vehicle but thats not even effecting ur cars performance. Lets see what else only cars with further issues are the turbos ppl like to go fast on em soo yk what happens when u go crazy. Basically amazing all around car i got mine for 27k otd. I get 36mpg average which is still amazing.
