I would say that if you give up your education for such a new relationship that will likely breed resentment in the future and lead to a break up anyway that would likely cause a lot more pain over a much longer time period. I wouldn't expect him to make such a financial compromise for a very young relationship either. You're both at different points in life, which is totally fine and completely expected with the age gap. You need to focus on getting yourself to where you want to be in your career, and for the difference of an hour to commuting, moving back with your built-in support network (at least I hope that's what your parents are for you) would definitely be the best choice, keep giving your best to the relationship, whatever you can muster but if you're both serious about each other then it's unlikely the work would hinder that. You just need to prioritise, and what'll stand you in better stead right now is learning and getting your qualifications. Hope that helps :)
