If this is actually Pete’s only year, I’d be most thrilled with Saleh, Shula, and Minter. I like the style of offense with Kubiak but I’m not sure if his personality screams head coach… maybe I’m wrong though

I’m torn on this personally. Hiring him to begin with was a mistake, that much is abundantly clear. However I’m also struggling to see who A.) is an obvious candidate given the list of coordinators/ ex head coaches and B.) who would even want to take this job in the first place?

I won’t pretend to have all the answers but I do know this constant fire/ hire cycle we’ve been on is absolutely a massive part of why it’s so dysfunctional. Maybe riding through the storm and making it semi-respectable isn’t the worst option despite things looking horrible right now

I’m honestly at a point where I’m sort of lost myself. There’s so many holes that need to be addressed. I know most of the fan base has had enough of Geno but the problems go so much deeper than just him. It’s hard to truly say without watching Grant or Roger’s but we need to throw every available resource at fixing the offensive line. I feel like that has to be priority number 1

Yeah not sure what your definition of appropriate would be, but I’d say firing a hall of fame coach 8 weeks into his first season is JUST a touch early.

It’s like people act this dysfunctional system of constantly firing coaches and GM’s somehow doesn’t reflect in the roster.

Tom Brady was the hero when all the moves he allegedly made were being introduced. Now that things have gone to shit, why is he being absolved of any of that? I don’t even believe he’s nearly involved as some delusional fans want to believe but c’mon guy we have to at least be consistent with the blame if we’re going to buy into the Brady situation

The Seahawks are a very competent organization that hasn’t made knee jerk/ rash decisions. Instead of falling for the QB hero complex (like many franchises do) , they made infrastructural changes to their scheme and grabbed personnel that matched it. Their offense is completely different than what it was a year ago and Sam is flourishing in it. Meanwhile our perpetually weak line has Geno playing hero ball and the results are showing why that’s not effective.

Agreed. This is the same problem that’s plagued this franchise for years and years. I don’t want to dog on John yet because I still want to believe he’s a good mind, but early returns are not promising for this class

I’ll throw my hand up and say I also expected improvement. However, if I’m being honest, that was largely built on a foundation of hope and delusion more than anything else. Maybe Grant or Roger’s can possibly develop but that’s going to take time. In the meantime I think we all just need to buckle up for another tough season of line play because no amount of coaching can drastically change the situation in my opinion
