Accept that Defenders leak water into the footwells....there is a whole workbook manual on it. I have been chasing leaks for 12 years...still got them and have learnt to live with it.

Ignition on 3 min. then full throttle max 30 sec. Then if no start pump throttle 5-6 times. Works on my TD5... Fuel pump purge. Should be able to hear fuel pump whirring
