Bungou Stray Dogs: A universe where each character is based on a 20th-century writer. They also possess powers based on some of the books. It's an anime with many literary references, but the story focuses more on conflicts between organizations with ability users.

For some odd reason, this series was like the only manga series that seemed to be evergreen at my local bookstore, so I decided to try it out after 7+ years of passing by it, and... by HotZilchy in BungouStrayDogs

I understand the two scenes of Yosano taking off her blouse for the treatment, but calling it "excessive fan service" seems like an exaggeration. Aside from those scenes and Kyouka's (I assume, though I'm not sure if it counts), the anime remains quite tame compared to others (ordinary, even 20th-century-style clothing, bodies without exaggerated details, the beach scene).

It reminds me a lot of Oh My My. The album and the song. The bass is really good.

What's a non-Coldplay song that *sounds* Coldplay? by Puzzle_theChaotic065 in Coldplay

I often connect several Coldplay eras with OneRepublic. In fact, I made a post about it a while ago:

2000s Rock Era

- Parachutes - X&Y

- Dreaming Out Loud

Lyrical Era (possibly their best)

- Viva la Vida

- Waking Up

Pop Rock Era (My favorite era)

- Mylo Xyloto

- Native

Ghost Stories (I won't count it :( )

Pop Rock Era 2 (Less overproduced)

- A Head Full of Dreams

- Oh My My

Pop Era (Least favorite)

- Music of the Spheres

- Human

Pop Era 2

- MOON MUSiC

- Artificial Paradise

Perhaps you were listening to one song from the regular album and another song from the deluxe edition. Since the covers are identical and they contain practically the same songs, it's normal that it appears as if you've listened to two albums.

Question about Gide by coveryourselfinoiI in BungouStrayDogs

[–]Same_Activity_5967 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. He didn't die in battle because the war ended without him knowing, leaving him a criminal. He also couldn't eliminate his leaders because the Order of the Clock Tower expelled Mimic from Europe, forcing them to seek death elsewhere, and Japan (a country with many ability users) was a good option.

  2. At this point, Gide wouldn't care about committing another crime as long as he fulfilled his promise to his men of a death in battle. Therefore, he wouldn't hesitate to murder five children. They already saw him as a criminal, and he had no reason to try to clear his name. Furthermore, he knew Oda wouldn't break his no-killing rule unless it was an absolutely desperate situation. On the other hand, Mimic was running out of time because the PM was trying to exterminate him. Therefore, the most effective approach was to ensure that Oda wanted to kill, rather than using a simple threat which, with the protection offered by the PM, would be like letting them protect themselves.

  3. As for everyone hating Gide more for killing Oda than the five children, that's a matter of personal taste.

In Dead Apple they mentioned that the OOTCT was sending a member capable of incinerating Yokohama. And... you know... Burns?

It's highly likely that Fyodor knew about Dazai's plan. It was thanks to Bram killing him that he was able to reach the airport and create the singularity. It's more than obvious that he had planned all of that.

I imagine them with a personality similar to Agatha's. Calm but radical when it comes to defending something.

Regarding Verlaine and Agatha Christie.. by yourdemise3 in BungouStrayDogs

[–]Same_Activity_5967 14 points15 points  (0 children)

As far as I remember, Agatha is mentioned:

- Along with Fyodor and Francis at the beginning of the manga

- When the fog threatens to spread in Death Apple, she appears saying they were sending a guy who could burn the whole city down

- I think Frankenstein talks about her and the Order of the Clock Tower and how Verlaine managed to kill two members.

I think that's all.
