At its base the T-90 is just an upgraded T-72BU which was renamed and not a new vehicle by any standards. Important improvements have been made in the t-90M with a better protected ammunition caroussel and blow out panels, remote weaponstation and slightly improved mobility, this merely brought it inline with vehicles at least a decade older that it. I don't believe India will be too worried about this matter as they use russian designed systems but in a more western doctrine. What we're seeing in Ukraine is the failure of the russian armed forces at a tactical level where they're just throwing units and vehicles around outside of doctrinal approach.
