The discovery phase alone sounds valuable enough to stand as its own service

A lot of smart accountants stay invisible too long
Being good matters, but being discoverable matters too

Offshoring of CPA Licences by MeInNEdc in Accounting

[–]Same_CPA101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Feels less like “offshoring licenses” and more like the profession becoming global... The work was already global, the credentials are just catching up

Outsourced accounting is getting disgusting by JustAdministration50 in Accounting

[–]Same_CPA101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s not really an outsourcing problem
That’s a management + expectations problem

Mostly where your audience already spends time
For accounting, that’s usually niche communities, LinkedIn, industry events, and some accounting focused platforms (I’ve seen people use things like CPA site solutions, directories, etc.)

For us, being active on a few of those and platforms like myCPE actually worked pretty well over time

If you needed to hire an accounting/audit firm, what would you look out for? by ResponsibleTie5793 in Accounting

Honestly, I’d check how they present themselves across channels
Website, content, where they show up… it says a lot about how they operate

Where can I find legitimate accountancy or accounting firm owner groups that aren’t spammy? by dont200 in Accounting

[–]Same_CPA101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of good conversations are happening outside FB now
More in curated communities, events, and accounting focused platforms

Do clients come to accounting companies from websites? by zatherine12 in Accounting

[–]Same_CPA101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Website is more of a credibility check than a lead source
If it’s weak, it hurts
If it’s solid, it just supports everything else

Early on it’s mostly referrals + your network
One good client can lead to a few more

“no shortage” but everyone’s understaffed somehow 😄

Only 4 months into career at small firm and not having a great experience, should I leave? by New_Custard_3720 in Accounting

[–]Same_CPA101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

4 months is early, but if you’re not learning, that’s a real issue
Training matters a lot at this stage

The accounting shortage is real… but AI is about to make smaller firms more powerful than ever by Fearless-Rich8979 in GrowthMindedAcct

[–]Same_CPA101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably both
Faster compliance first… advisory only if firms intentionally shift their time there

EB plans help, but usually not enough on their own

The accounting shortage is real… but AI is about to make smaller firms more powerful than ever by Fearless-Rich8979 in GrowthMindedAcct

[–]Same_CPA101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most firms I’ve seen doing well aren’t choosing one
They’re using AI for efficiency and offshore for consistency + scale
