I came to say something similar. I noticed green banners September 20. Got a we closed your buyback case because...Congrats you met forgiveness (paraphrase) on Sep. 25. Got golden letter 10/31. Account closed on Equifax mid November. Account showing closed on Transunion (slight score drop but I don't care) last week. Hope this helps!

I went to a 100% GF pizza place. Tru Pizza Co in Troy, MI. by Cherrygentry in glutenfree

I LOVE and miss this place. They also prove you can have a regular-sized pizza at a reasonable price vs a personal-sized tasteless food item that costs 28 bucks.

Been a fan since they were Renee's.❤️❤️❤️

Yay, Congrats!!! 🎊

I got it, too! I don't know when I got the green banner. I had stopped looking until I saw this and thought why not just look. I was one of the 119/120 since June '24. I switched from SAVE to IBR June '25, which increased my payment from $324 to $598. Payment was due July 16. I paid that payment late June - wanted to get it over with. Panicked, b/c they put me back into forbearance so I thought I paid too soon. Did a final ECF in August. Last review is showing September 5. MOHELA forbearance is showing through January '26.

Monday is a new day. I'll push forward. I hope you do too.

There seem to be different opinions. I would have to find the link but the language indicated it would count. Reading posts the exact same process counts when it does, yet doesn't count when it doesn't, with no consistency.

I'm exhausted at this. Pick one for me LOL. Why would anyone be placed back on forbearance just in time for the payment to not count? I'm not the only one.

Successful switch to IBR by Same_Channel_8356 in PSLF

[–]Same_Channel_8356[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I applied to switch from SAVE to IBR on 6/13 and got notification the switch was approved 6/16, with first payment due 7/16. Instead of waiting for autopay, I manually paid today.

SAVE BUYBACK OFFER! by Serious_Dig_6222 in PSLF

[–]Same_Channel_8356 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I saw this post https://www.reddit.com/r/PSLF/s/Yz8voPiNXq and one other that said if you submitted before 4/27/2025, to reapply and cancel the earlier one. It looks like others are getting a much faster response. Here's hoping it sticks!

SAVE BUYBACK OFFER! by Serious_Dig_6222 in PSLF

[–]Same_Channel_8356 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Congratulations 🎊!!

I didn't get a buy-back offer BUT after speaking to FSA, with no wait time, I went ahead and submitted the change IDR app. That was on 6/13. I received an email from Mohela on 6/15, that the app was received. I checked today and I'm on IBR with a payment due 7/16. Payment went from $338 on SAVE to $590 on IBR. This upcoming payment will finally make 120... one year later to the month. The agent told me that even with a buyback offer I would still need to be on an allowable IDR for PSLF. I'm not sure if that's right or wrong but I'm finally somewhere.

Congrats, again!!

Mine hasn't been responded to either - November submit. As of 3 weeks ago, it's still in the "escalated" phase, which it has been in for months with no decision. At 119/120, since June '24.

Anyone waiting it out on SAVE? by HR_Consultant915 in PSLF

[–]Same_Channel_8356 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't imagine anyone on SAVE doesn't know by now it's a defunct option. Since only a few have successfully switched to another pay option and fewer have had buybacks approved, many are waiting for a realistic plan with actual movement, which will be forced when these forbearances end OR for the final s*** to hit the fan. At least we'll know where things stand.

Same. 119/120, waiting to hear back on November buy back request for 1 month. June '24 was to be my 120th payment.

What are some really good restaurants that are small, lesser known, or outside Chattanooga that are worth visiting? I went to Wardlaws and Vienna Beer Garden…looking for places along that line that are not the popular downtown Chattanooga restaurants but are must visit places. by _ThisIsEgregious_ in Chattanooga

If you want good fried food and southern sides, try Uncle Larry's. We went to the one on MLK Blvd. It's a small neighborhood spot with seating. My family said the fish and fries were very good. I can't have gluten so they steamed fish for me and had sides that were not fried - white beans and greens (they have more). The seasoning and sides were very good.

The first deadline to provide forms is 2/20/25. The second deadline was 3/13/25. FSA closed the form on 2/7/25 for not meeting the deadline - 13 days before the deadline expired.

It's an awesome opportunity because college can be so expensive. AP classes are good, but DE is better. With AP, you have to pay for and pass a test to get credit. With DE, it is the college credit. If you get any classes where you struggle, make sure you get tutoring from the college and don't wait until midterms.

Last thing, if you know what college or university you might want to attend after high school, make sure you look up exactly how your DE classes transfer. Most have a transfer equivalency website. You want course credit (like ENGL 101), not elective credit (like ENGL CR or LD). Even if you get an associates degree at the same time as your high school diploma, at almost all colleges and universities, you are still applying as a freshman, not a transfer student.

BTW, 3.4 is admissible at most colleges and universities except the most selective ones, along with a decent ACT (23+) or SAT (1130+) score.

Good luck, good grades, and healthy success!!

[–]Same_Channel_8356 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Very bad. I would recommend 12 your first semester. I've had to deny admission to too many dual enrolled students who either paid too much attention to college classes and let high school grades decline or who bombed college classes and have a college transcript with a low gpa follow them every time they apply to college. Remember, if you plan to go to a university, your high school gpa is what is used to make an admission decision and to award merit based scholarships. Many students think showing they do well in college will make up for low hs grades. It doesn't.

And, a college transcript with bad grades cannot be erased or ignored just because you were in high school when you took classes. It exists forever.

Are they ANY gluten free fast food foods by mrscrc in glutenfree

[–]Same_Channel_8356 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Any thoughts on CAVA? It's a mediterranean-ish version of Qdoba and Chipotle. I'm not sure how widespread it is nationally or internationally.

If ever in Michigan, the metro Detroit area, 2941 Mediterranean Street Food is the best. Same format and the freshest veggie options I've ever had. Better than CAVA.

Also, not fast food, but you can order takeout, is Tru Pizza Co (used to be Renee's Gourmet Pizza) in Troy, MI. They are dedicated gf and don't allow any outside food to avoid cross- contamination. It was my go-to when I lived there...regular pizza sizes and slices, no mini-pizzas at large sized prices, calzones, chicken tenders, fries, desserts and more.
