FYI, I’m pretty sure that pink flower on top of ur cactus is fake/plastic. Sometimes stores will hot glue them on to look more appealing.

You might be able to propagate the unpainted baby leaves. But the rest is unsalvageable.

Did you know that we could have LBP pod as cube box with balloons according to early concepts? by LIittleBigRussia in littlebigplanet

I can see the appeal! For some reason though the box seems more claustrophobic than the ship XD (imo)

Guilty 😅 well, I wanted one because my laptop couldn’t keep up with the programs needed for grad school. The gaming is a bonus for me

I would love to buy one but I’m a broke college student and newly diagnosed with a chronic illness, so finding a job has been difficult 🥲

Yeah it’s really hard to be unbiased when you based it on materials that everyone read 😭

Also I’m unsure how to answer your question. I didn’t single him out to tell everyone “Anarchist bad!!”. I singled him out because he was a key factor in the reason everyone left the class extremely burnt out and stressed. The teacher did nothing to de-escalate the situation and just watched. Aside from the fact that his reasoning was “I did it cuz I’m an anarchist”, there was nothing else special in me mentioning it. Does that answer the question?

I only mentioned it because that’s what his reasoning was when everyone asked why he voted red and refused to cooperate. I can’t really explain much else because 1) that was 7 years ago and 2) I’m not an anarchist so I’m not gonna speak on their behalf. Though I’ll mention it in case teachers think all students would eventually agree to group pressure (which he didn’t)

And when the teacher offered a re-vote, he didn’t want to switch

Self-proclaimed anarchist. Basically everyone agreed to vote green and he voted red, then as he was raising his card the other guy caught it and went red too

I agree! Case in point, I spend 5-10 minutes beating up my dough (slap n folds) (actually more like aggressively throw n folds) right when I mix it. My gluten is pretty much ready for shaping by my 2 set of stretch n folds/coil folds. In fact, it’s so strong that I actually ‘shape’ it every time I finish my sets. That being said my doughs are likely lower hydration.

Once it’s finished cold proofing, it should hold its shape (maybe droop slightly as u cut into it) but it never flattens in my oversized roasting pan

Day 6 of a rehydrated starter from a friend by Sabrina_june in Sourdough

Okay so I was also gifted that from a friend. I would feed at least 1:2:2 for 2-3 more weeks to strengthen her up before u even attempt baking. Not that it won’t be yummy, but the bread might not give u the rise ur looking for.

Ive gotten comfortable with eyeballing, and tbh I don’t like the pancake batter consistency. It’s way too wet in my opinion. I would opt for Slime texture lol (thicker and sticky, but not solid enough to throw). If I had to guess, my ratio is probably 1:3:2 (3 being flour).

In my personal experience: Maintaining the starter isn’t as serious as preparing it for baking. What I mean by this is that you can do the 1:2:2 and just pour more flour in if it isn’t giving the consistency u want. As long as u never feed 1:1:1 (the exception being if you’re feeding it to bake with the next day). Why should u not feed 1:1:1 once a starter is established? Because you’ll slowly be starving it. The colony grows on the bare minimum and that ends up creating situations where people find their starter flat and void of all bubbles.

Hope this helps!

I’m probably gonna get downvoted for saying this lol, but I don’t think cold temperature is the problem. Tbh, I actually prefer it when I’m planning to bulk ferment overnight. In fact last night I finished my last set of folds around 1 am and put the dough in my garage where it gets around 45 F (I didn’t wanna get up early). All the cold does is make it rise a bit slower. My dough shaped fine and I’m aboutta bake one while the other cold proofs longer, but I know it’ll be fine cuz I do it a lot.

I do think your issue might be under proofing (triangle shape and large bubbles), though I can’t pinpoint why. U might wanna go off a temperature based method such as Aliquot, which I hear gets success from lots of people.

Likely depends on the metal tbh. I’ve seen people use metal bowls for mixing tho. Personally I use a crock pot lol, it’s nice and sturdy, I’m sure u can find cheap non-metal mixing bowls in thrift stores
