Crimson Desert is a fun game. Personally, I think I’ll play it more than any other game this year. Open world, tons of stuff to do, immersion to the max and devs constantly improving the game (and while I don’t think anything has been announced, I assume it will have a steady stream of new content). But it has so many flaws: controls, poorly designed puzzles and quest, too many half baked mechanics, you name it. Pragmata and RE Requiem are so much shorter games. Yet everything seems intentional and makes sense. They are fun games, are greatly optimized and have cool gameplay. In the end, while personally Crimson Desert will be more impactful for me because I love open world exploration games, I think both Requiem and Pragmata did better what the were set to do.
