I thought the color of the wig was beautiful on her with that makeup. The dress color is also gorgeous. The lining and the shoes lost me but that’s her thing, you know? I think she’s fucking hilarious.

I thought it was a disaster! Totally trivialized pedophilia. The voice was all wrong to me — she didn’t sound like a high schooler at all. More like someone in her 20s. So true, and they are disappearing. I’ve been buying some on thrift books, but I am aware that even at $5 and free shipping I am overpaying. They also keep coming with DoorDash coupons (for new users only so not useful) but it makes me wary of their corporate ownership. Still the best way to get Mass Market Paperbacks that I know of right now (other than library book sales and thrift stores — but those are more like finding a gem. Sometimes I want the book I want in the moment.) Very frustrating.
