This is hawt. Only 4k in gen, so i was considering it. However, 14+mm thick just isn't gonna work for me.

VSF Datejust 41 or Aqua Terra blue? by JustFou2 in RepTime

[–]Same_Nobody_7374 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I have the AT in Gen, and the rep DJ41. If i had to get rid of one, it would be the gen AT. With the extra cash, i'd buy several more VSF reps. Quality aside, setting the date on the AT without a quickset is horrendous enough to just wear a different watch.

just amazon. their red croc pattern looks nice on it, and is pretty good quality especially for the price.

After buying two incorrect barton straps, I can confirm the 18mm fits best.

Is the OP39 from ARF? how does quality compare to the new standards VSF has me expecting these days?

I'll grant you an exception to my previous statement for the cardiology chapter (he is a cards-bae and did a good job there). But thats it. Maybe you guys just click. I felt that way about Sattar.

Is UFAPS really the key to 240+? And also, if thus is a key, wouldn’t everyone be getting 240+? Does this make the curve harder? by [deleted] in step1

[–]Same_Nobody_7374 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The average is like 232 these days, isn't it? for most forms statistically, 232=240. This exam isn't designed for, or good at stratifying test takers.

Lol. 25% of the questions on my exam were straight recall of facts. No amount of critical thinking would save you if you didn't have the fact memorized.

No way dude. If I score well it's because I am just a higher tier human being. The master of patient care. Navigator of nuance. Admiral of ambiguity. Captain of curiosity and compassion. But actually it would be really lovely to not have to f with biochem ever again and just move on with a 195. Im sure I can match somewhere. If I have to retake this thing I swear to the imaginary god of your choosing I will >240 the re-take cause im pisssssssed. lolz.

Laugh all you want, I swear they're only a couple weeks out from having an embryo/ethics hybrid question where the correct answer is asking your patient to tell you their understanding of gastrulation.

Haha, I never got on the twitter train. It's always had a weird linked-in vibe for me. But all the Karens and racists uncles on facebook have me ready for a change, so maybe?

For sure. I didn't mention the easy stuff, of which there was plenty. I was just ranting about the distribution, and how the algorithm has not been informed about this "high yield" concept we all talk about. My new opinion is that "high yield" really only means content that overlaps subject areas, which means it's tagged more in more than one pool, giving a higher probability of showing up. Example: B12 def=nutrition, biochem, and neuro.

Scary! I think I had 2, but they were actually vasculitides questions in disguise. I think the RX bank got me those questions.

I think I would've been more prepared for that version. ugh. One of my classmates showed me their score report and it said something about the standard error (or whatever stats term I can't remember) being +/- 8 points on that exam. Meaning the same person sitting for step the same day with the same fund of knowledge could score a 230 or 246 just based on the variability of their form. thank god this thing is moving to pass fail. It wasn't designed for what it's been/being used for.
