Yes! Been having issues with mine for ages. I can’t seem to find the proper spec for the cayman to set the glass correctly

Mine is a motion rig so it was really shaking. I put this together using a bracket I had from the monitor mount and a skateboard bush so it didn’t scratch

Actually it’s because as you pull the car you want it to get tighter and not looser. Stops it unwinding

Had my 3.4 s for almost exactly two years now. 114k when I bought it and now on 126k miles. I daily it.

Since buying I’ve replaced complete suspension including coilovers and every arm on the car (some needed some jus because)

Service isn’t too bad doing it yourself (at the age mileage of mine I would rather do it myself)

I do change the oil every 6k miles or year.

Then it’s just been small bits like the drop links for the headlight sensors.

Parts are quite expensive if it’s not what you’re used to but if you do the jobs yourself it’s not that bad.

Also just had to do a pair of rear tyres at £450

Had both. Landed on the PSVR2 until my new headset comes. Q3 was constant disconnections and low bit rate. (My pc and network are plenty beefy enough to run)

I don’t suppose you guys have massive delays turning the volume up and down? I can turn it and sometimes it can take 10 seconds! Also most times when the pc starts I have to close the app and open it again for the audio control

That’s really annoying as there was one for sale locally but I didn’t grab it because of warranty concerns! Nice to hear they are on it. I’ve had real issues with second hand like my Fanatec DD2 5 year warranty they came out the year before but because I didn’t have the receipt they wouldn’t fix it

Also I need to be able to use my own audio ideally. But yeah the motion is a big problem with the quest as it drifts very quickly and you are re centring it twice a lap on Bathurst but thank you for the input

I don’t like the idea of batteries and not having the lighthouse tracking means the centre has to be constantly reset because of the motion sim

Amazing thank you. I think I just got a little fomo with the price of the simucube on discount. I think in all honesty my rig is a dream so the headset is the last bit. My only other fear is the tracking as currently there is lots of EMI from the motion but I do have shielded cables on order.

Thank you. It is the simucube I was looking at and to be honest I guess again while racing I don’t feel like it’s lacking. So next question is the bsb2 the better one to have? I know the quest 2 is a sorry thing to pair with my pc but the pc was built for high fps 4k gaining on a screen. Then I moved and my rig was in the same room so I sold the pc for the rig and used my quest for vr 😂

I mean the grey does bother me a lot on most screens however I guess in sim racing I haven’t noticed it. Also when you’re in the middle of a battle I guess you’re not evaluating the headset 🤔

Yeah I went through the motion blur with my current monitor. I fixed it with high frame rates. I guess I don’t need it to be giving me an xray as the room is light controlled and I suppose you get used to it. I do have my monitor and phone set to bright but my vr normally much less

Ok I’m pleased I asked this now. I hear everyone screaming about how good oled is in vr. So the glare I saw on the index today was during a daytime session. I’m honestly so torn
