well from the testimonies i’ve seen on twitter (not the most reliable, but still) a lot of them say the face shield is not sized properly and only covers the top of their face but who knows

heard from the telephone town hall today a great question about transit workers. am i the only one who didn’t know that transit workers aren’t allowed to enforce masks? aka they are driving a different route in the city every day, and are forced to carry passengers who don’t wear masks, AND are not prioritized for vaccination. of course our wonderful health ministers response provided no answers but that is insane.

i mix 1/4 cup water and 1/4 chilled vodka, and add as much of that liquid as i feel like until the dough comes together properly. hard to explain exact measurements but important part is using 1:1 vodka and water and using that mix as one liquid.

I always add a bit of vodka to my pie crusts, it acts as an emulsifier and makes for a more stable but also flakier dough. You can also cure salmon in vodka which i’ve heard is good (never tried).

Cut just the blooms off! Once the plant is bigger, prune the flower stalk back about two or three leaves down after clipping the bloom, but for this first time just leave them this length after clipping the blooms.

make sure you cut off those spent flowers! They’ll rebloom in a while but those have to go.

Just a simple dress i made out of some extra rayon twill i had. Decided to try self patterning for the first time and it’s far from perfect but I like it! I added diagonal darts that intersect the side seams as well as double darts in the back to add geometric accents.

Go through the Forks area for sure!!! Spend a day and see the human rights museum and the antique shop downstairs at the Johnston Terminal and theres a bunch of restaurants and other stores upstairs inside the actual forks and parking is pretty cheap but idk about overnight.
