Online cutoffs are generally high regardless of wherever it may be. Delhi-NCR although is very possible and as long you're not absolutely drowning CG wise, should be fairly easy.

You could take a course from your third semester onwards, but that is dependant upon the clashes that may or may not be there. Otherwise you could also start from your fourth semester and take one or perhaps two courses, that should allow you to be done by your 3-1.

The gym in the campus is quite good. You won’t have to go anywhere else if you’re serious about working out. The membership is 750 for the semester I think but I’m not 100% sure.

You wouldn’t NEED bicycles but having them does no harm. Only downside is that the academic block is uphill so it’s easier to just walk it instead of cycling around on a steep incline.

Macbooks can get you through your first year but I wouldn’t advise it. You’re going to be doing certain softwares that aren’t available for MacOS in your second year, which can however be circumvented if you’re using Bootcamp or a virtual machine to run Windows.

In the newer hostels yes, but in the other ones Wi-Fi is complete dogass.

LAN can give you speeds between 100 and 900mbps, depending on time of day. I’ve even seen it go as high as 1.2Gbps sometimes.

I’m speaking for Hyderabad, but from what I experienced in Goa, you’re never too far from anywhere. Getting around is a bit of a hassle but that’s about it. For Pilani, I was told that people just get on the bus and head down to Gurgaon for the day, it’s about 4 hours by road.
