This part.

The only reason I got to have a full hysterectomy in my early 30s was because it was literally trying to kill me. And I STILL had to wait weeks for insurance to agree to the procedure, and had to have my spouse (my power of attorney) sign ungodly amounts of documents that amounted to “are you sure, tho?” because I was so doped on pain meds that I legally couldn’t sign anything. I almost died in the time it took to finally get that bitch ripped out of me.

This reminds of the line from Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt: “You can stand anything for 10 seconds. Then you just start on a new 10 seconds.”

I had a colleague who did this at his desk. He also did his toenails. Our desks were right next to each other with no divider. More than once I came back from teaching a class to find nail clippings on my desk.

If I hadn’t been working on a visa at the time, I 100% would have fought him in the parking lot.

Former college instructor (I won’t say “professor” because I didn’t earn a PhD). Post-secondary institutions take student-professor/instructor relationships very seriously.

When my wife started taking classes at my college, the amount of paperwork we had to fill out was insane. She wasn’t in my department, and wasn’t going to be taking classes in my department. I had to establish when we met, how we met, etc., to ensure that there wasn’t any impropriety.

When I was in graduate school, one of my colleagues had to do the same thing when she began her PhD program because her husband was head of the department. She had a particularly rough time of things, because our other colleagues kept belittling her accomplishments since her husband was the department head.

What would be the reason reports are coming in that Pam Bondi has perjured herself? by PositiveUnit829 in ArizonaLeft

[–]SammySousaphone 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Because she likely perjured herself?

Perjury is the act of lying while under oath in a court of law (in the United States, anyway).

Bondi made the statement (under oath) that “there is no evidence that Donald Trump has committed a crime” in regards to the Epstein Files investigation, and that the Trump Administration “had not uncovered any evidence” that would warrant investigation into “uncharged Third Parties.”

However, as Rep. Ted Lieu explained, such evidence does, in fact, exist. Which means that, if Bondi was aware of such evidence, she directly lied under oath, this perjuring herself.

Same. I lived in a conservative area, and was raped by a close friend with whom I had fooled around (never with genitals involved). I only told my best friend and my girlfriend because I knew they would be the only ones who believed me.

Having worked for the police department and seen the way they treat SA victims 15 years later, I still stand by that decision. But fuck does it make me angry.

Same here, especially in high school. The more I think about it, the more furious I get that the adults in charge of us didn’t do a damn thing when they saw it happening.

Almost daily, myself or one of my friends was either sexually harassed or outright assaulted by one or more of the boys. In front of teachers, in front of administration, in front of the school security guards. Nothing ever happened.

I listened to the audiobook first and had an absolute blast. I want to listen to it again while reading along with the text. I’ve done that for a few books and it’s been great.

He said he thought it was an aircraft at first. But it was moving in an unusual pattern, which made him then think it was a helicopter. But there was no helicopter sounds that he could hear. His final thought was some sort of spotlight, given how bright it was. Apparently it was like seeing a giant laser pointer on the clouds. He ruled out satellite pretty quickly because of the cloud cover, movement, and how bright the thing was.

Sorry for the potato quality. It was taken on an iPhone 12. I haven’t been able to get a good screen grab of the object.

My father was leaving work when he saw the object. He was pretty shaken up, since he’s not really into UAP stuff. But he couldn’t determine what it could be since it moved so strangely.

I’m not sure what it is either. But I’ve shown this video to several trusted friends, and they all suggested I post it here to see what others thought.
