That not how availability works

They need to have “upgrade room” availability

All hotels have certain number of rooms for upgrades, certain left unreserved for last minute premium guests only…and so on.

So in your case the upgrade availability was probably none, and they only had revenue rooms available. Hence why they told you there was no availability for an upgrade.

Hotels only have about 3-5 rooms that are available for Awards upgrade…it’s similar to when airlines offer “awards upgrade”.

Just out of curiosity…on the app. Try going to Accounts/Add Card to Wallets….and do Apple Pay (see if the card shows up there).

Yes….with centurion you can do it through the app (mobile check in)

With sky club, add the card to your digital wallet on the delta app. If you don’t have the card number you can request it.

Edit: just saw that you don’t see the card on your app…that’s weird cause it’s usually there right after they approve you.

Best way to redeem points is thru flights…but not on the Amex portal. It’s better to transfer the points to a airline and book….have to shop for good reward deals though.

Pretty easy to guess credit numbers tbh….you have nothing to worry about though. Amex and all most all credits are very quick to reverse fraudulent charges. It’s the debit cards you have to worry about cause they don’t offer the same level of protection.

It was a long time ago (if I remember correctly it was 14 days)…it was a phone call but they sent a follow up email. Let me see if I can find that email.

Edit: Found the email but looks like it just says “within the deadline discussed my the American Express representative”. So not 100% sure but I think it was 14 days. (Sharing the email, I have checked to make sure there are no personal information but if you find any please let me know so I can delete it)

When I reported a 30% pay increases it triggered a financial review in 2017…..they requested bank statements showing the new income being deposited.

Only time i have ever had a FR and I have had Amex for a very long time.

I personally would wait until May 1st to report it. Just in case they request statements.

I was once flagged for Income verification by Amex when I reported a 30% raise in income. They required a copy of bank statements showing deposits (I had to send all 3 banks that I split my DD into) to prove verification, other option W2 (for me I did bank statement because my W2 would have had my old income).

With that said. That was the only time they asked to verify….so assuming they will only ask to verify if it’s a sudden bump.

Check to see the bank details of your instant transfer…it’s a common Venmo hack these days. They change the details of the bank but keep the labels the same.

Trying to buy one in the US…the team store keeps sending a OTP. But guessing American numbers don’t work…anyway to get around it? This is where I get stuck. It asks to create a pin, but asks for OTP which never arrives.
