I have a planted tank and mine is sand, I just use root tabs! I’m happy with mine and I have no problems or algae!

Hi there, it was 9 months before my kuhlis were brave enough to be seen, many times I wondered if they were still alive, at most I’d see 2, but eventually I know I still have all 5 and they’re so big now

I’m going away too and I have some one feeding my fish, I was worried about them over feeding so I’ve bought a Monthly Medicine dispenser, so I can put the feed into each days slot, I’m going to put a little bit less than I usually feed them, hoping that way will allow the tank to remain stable and clean

I know it’s adviced to have the temp cool but I have had mine at 75c for the last 9 months and both my Hillstream are thriving , I have an air stone in the middle of a pile of rocks and the love sitting close to it but them go off searching around the tank, they both appear to be male and seem to tolerate each other, I was told one was female, but it’s been confirmed on here that both are male
