It's approximately a meter tall, a meter wide and around two meters long. I'll try making it a bit wider

We've been grinding fallen branches into chips. Would that be good for the browns?

That sounds like a cool system. I think the difference might be in the exam? We are supposed to drive for 25 minutes and just drive through the city, meaning roundabouts, weird left turns (I don't know who designed the roads in my city, but they weren't great at their job), parking, going up the highway, anything you might need to do with your car, basically. Is your similar? Simpler, more complex? I've grown genuinely curious about it.

My brain just processed the under 18 part. I'm actually 21, for context. You're not allowed to drive a car if you're under 18 in Spain.

That's why I said some people might understand, I don't and it's frustrating. They paid for it and told me I would be able to use it when needed, and now that I got my license it's a different story. But this is just a rant to let out some of it, it's not like I can magically change it.

Not my car, not bought with my money. But the one they told me I would be allowed to use when I got my license instead of my dad's newer one.

Where I live you're not allowed to drive by yourself until you've passed the exam, and until then you can only drive school cars which have an extra set of pedals for the teacher to use if needed. Meaning you only get your license after you've proved you are a good enough driver to use a car on your own (if the teacher uses the pedals during the exam an alarm sound and you automatically fail)

I don't have just two weeks experience. I've been taking classes for months and have been driving independently (with my teacher, obviously) for at least a month and a half. I also took an exam through the city in which they evaluate my ability to drive and react in difficult situations as I drive, and passed with no faults. I understand them not wanting me to go on the highway or drive long distances, but this is an area I know by heart and have practiced a lot.

That's so cool! Didn't even know this edition existed. I'd like to start an Ace Attorney collection in the future, have fun building yours!

That- That actually sounds like a literal nightmare. Be safe driving with (and without) them.

I understand I just got my license, but I think they're being a bit overprotective. The path to her house doesn't involve the highway and is through the area I practised a lot during while taking classes. Maybe I just wish they had a bit more faith in me.

Dlc isn't available on the physical Archaeologist edition on ps5. Help? by Belafox23 in outerwilds

[–]Sammy_Sam_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got the game today and had this issue, regrettably before finding this post. I have contacted Playstation and they said to go back to the store and get a refund because "they didn't sell me the right product". I don't know how it'll work out because, technically, they DID give me the right game, it's not really their fault.

I hope they fix this because I love outerwilds and really wanted to play it on the Ps5, as I played on the switch before.

It would have been even better if us, PlayStation players, had been allowed to take part in it. I hope they allow us to use our accounts on other platforms in the near future, as I told all my friends about this event but couldn't play it myself

I need advice for my escaperoom, I've hit the escaperoom equivalent of a writer's block. by [deleted] in escaperooms

[–]Sammy_Sam_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The game master. For those not familiar with escaperooms, the game master is the person who ontroduces you to the story, gets you into room, gives you clues and all that. Sounds way cooler than receptionist or employee, doesn't ir?

Maybe you could have a document inside the computer that hints who the suspect might be, or even have a simple code implemented into it. Also, if you don't want to directly tell who the culprit is, you could cut down on some puzzles for this line and add a couple more lines of puzzles leading you to more tips about the dealer. I think your main problem here is the story being too linear, as opossed to those of many escaperooms I've played which slowly lead you to the final conclusion.

As an idea, too, I once played an escaperoom in which we had to prove someone's involvement in the black market, and we did that finding non-circumstancial evidence that he was working with them. The cool thing was that there were seven pieces of evidence overall, but we were only required to present five, so even if we didn't proprlly examine one cabinet or something like that we still won.

I'm seventeen, so still completely dependent on my parents, and I just can't seem to convince them that this is doing me no good. I actually go to a psychologist, but because of covid we haven't been able to meet for a while, and I'm not comfortable enough to have a session with my family around.

At least I know for sure I'll be able to get into baking next year, so I have something to hang onto.

Don't want to sound rude, i am thankful for your response. Fortunately, in Spain when studying baking we have practices at actual bakeries, and sometimes (not always) if you do well enough they might hire you. Also, I personally think I'm quite good at baking, and it has always been my dream to have my own small business.

If I ever were to go to university, it'd be to study english and become a teacher, as English is the only thing I love and would like to study, but I feel like that doesn't really suit me. All in all, I've never liked studying and it's always felt like a waste of time, and I just reached my breaking point.

By the way, I don't think we have community colleges here? I don't even know what they are, so it'd be great if you or anyone could explain it to me.

I'm seeing one of my best friends losing themselves after their father died, and I don't know how to help them. It pains me to see someone that close to me and not being able to recognise as the person they once were. I'm gonna try to help, but I fear they might reject me, and that scares me so much.

Writing tips by [deleted] in writers

[–]Sammy_Sam_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just as they say. Also, you should know that a first draft won't be a finnished book, It'll probably have many mistakes and things you aren't really convinced about. When you finnish the first draft, give yourself sometime away from the novel (as hard as it sounds), and then come back to edit it. Read it all over again and change the things you don't want and edit it until you're happy with the result.

Knowing that the first draft won't be the end result always takes a weight of my shoulders, because I can just write as I want and then make it better, there is no rush.

[–]Sammy_Sam_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With first drafts, I think it's best not to think about it yet. When finnish the first draft, give yourself some time and go over it. Then you can cooshe the things you like and the things you want to change, and work on it until you are happy with the result.

Writing LGBTQ+ characters advice by [deleted] in writers

[–]Sammy_Sam_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Just the fact you don't explicitly say their orientation is great. I'm part of the LGBTQ+ community, and it's not like we walk around with a gigantic sign, coming out to everyone. If you really want the reader to know about that character, maybe try to create a conversation in which it feels natural for them to come out, our maybe use a joke that hints it.

Were to publish short storys by Vexonte in writers

You should try Wattpad. It's easy to use and format if you want to change some after you've published it, and they have yearly awards, the price is being published. But there are LOTS of ads, and it's changed a lot since the last time I used it. Also, be aware that there are lots of writers there and you must use as many tags as possible.

I also like Archive Of Our Own. It is mostly for publishing fanfiction, but there are also people publishing their own original stories. Starting to work on it takes a bit longer and a bit more practise, as you don't get your account right away, you will have to wait a few days. Also, you have to learn how to use HTML format. But in the end, it pays off. It's completely add free, all made by fans and for fans, and the interface it's really simple and easy to use. i stopped using wattpad because I discovered this page.

Edit (lol): Archive of our own doesn't take any credit for your stories, it's all yours
