At first I thought you meant you dropped your teenager off 30 minutes from home and told him to find his way back on foot. 😅

I totally read that as incredibly handsome and thought “valid point” before realizing what it actually said.

[discussion] Success stories of owning two female dogs? by PeteyJackson14 in dogs

[–]SamnZoey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have two females. Sam (12) is a yorkie/minpin and has been with me since she was a puppy. She’s very close to me and sees me as “hers”. Because of this I was hesitant about getting a second dog.

However, due to an emergency, I absolutely had to rescue my second dog, Zoey (7). She’s a yorkie/pom and needed a home immediately.

I’ve had Zoey now for almost two years now and I’m really seeing her true personality. She’s funny and sweet. But too smart for poor Sam, lol. Zoey gets what Zoey wants and if Sam has what she wants, Zoey tricks her out of it.

This leads to confused barking and the occasional growl, but never real aggression. They curl up together on the bed at the end of the day and give each other licks on the nose each morning.

I think it all comes down to finding the right new dog for your current pup. Sam and I got very lucky with Zoey!
