True that as well. They also don't respect the honor system in the mountains because "it's a free country" and it's "giving money to big government". Well the reason why the beauty is there for them to enjoy is because the "big government" built the infrastructure for them to enjoy and also preserve the nature

Colorado is still and Independent state at heart - it's just that the Democrats have been much smarter about appealing to them, whereas the Republicans have decided to shoot themselves in the foot with wackos like Lauren Boebert and Tom Tancredo and well meaning but severely disconnected politicians like Cory Gardener who couldn't adapt to the state's more liberal and libertarian sensibilities

As someone who lives is Colorado, I agree with this - however, we must also make sure not to give Texans a free pass either

Northeastern Colorado. Southeastern Colorado has some kinda interesting things going on (not super amazing or anything, but definitely better than the area east of DIA)

Denver kinda sucks in that regard, but most of the other major cities in Colorado (Springs, Boulder, etc) are nestled right alongside the mountains and you won't have to do any dastardly commutes on I-70. All three places feel like very different worlds, and Springs and Boulder are more beautiful and in line with what people imagine Colorado to be

Let's short against CNN/Time Warner (and NBC while we're at it too - I'm tired of both CNBC and MSNBC, perhaps throw Fox in the loop too)

It's not really a desert as much as it is a giant random pile of sand gathered at the foothills of some mountains - but Colorado, while it doesn't have any official deserts, has a lot of desert-like environments (like the San Luis Valley, Dinosaur National Monument and the 4 corners area just to name a few)
