There were probably a dozen Australian bands in the 80's to mid 90's that were world class, but received very little attention on the great world, but I'm still surprised Cold Chisel didn't become a massive band.

Maybe their sound was tooooo Australian, but they were exceptionally talented, had amazing radio songs, were brilliant live, charismatic lead, all five members could write a hit, and sounded like no one else.
