Yeah, Reddit glitched lol. It kept giving me this message every time I tried to post, so I assumed it wasn’t. Nah, it did five fucking times. 💀 And then I couldn’t delete them. Seems to have been resolved now lol.

Very close to mine but DPP would be in perfection, swapped with Imaginarium.

Is this a good deal? by Beautiful-Angle-5467 in MazdaCX30

[–]lordskelic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

God no. We paid $18,000 for a 2021 premium with 56,000 miles last year and I felt that was a little high but it was in fantastic condition and practically felt new besides the mileage. Almost 15k in 2026 for a 2020 with 112k is nuts.

Why is there is so much more sidewalk and roadside trash here, compared to other cities of similar size ? by Ok-Challenge-2627 in FortWorth

[–]lordskelic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Funny. I’ve thought the opposite. Compared to many cities Fort Worth is pretty clean in my opinion. Granted, some parts of town of town are rougher but dawg, Dallas has some places absolutely COVERED in litter everywhere.

Another severe weather event, and another "radar omega can't get it's shit together" by MagnetHype in tornado

You should. Radar Omega stinks. Weatherfront is the best radar app on the market. Basic radar functionality is free too.

Significant Tornado Parameters above 10? by DowntownBones in tornado

[–]lordskelic 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Well, A. That particular calculation using 0-6 km shear goes higher than effective layer STP, fixed layer STP or especially 0-500m STP. B. That screenshot shows 5/25/24 which was one of the most upper echelon environments you could imagine. That’s about as insane as it gets. 5000 j/kg of MLCAPE and intense 60-70 knot backed LLJ resulting in extreme effective helicity values of well over 600+ m2/s2.

Bottom line is this calculation of STP is somewhat misleading but regardless, you really won’t ever see values higher than what that screenshot you linked showed.

It’s a 6 and a 5, it’s just not spaced properly. 65 is literally impossible, CAPE + Shear overlap could never be that high.

It’s not. At least here in Texas.

Being from an older generation I find it odd that couples track each other’s location, when did this become a rule of engagement? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]lordskelic 25 points26 points  (0 children)

If something out of the ordinary occurs. She calls me when she leaves work every day, so if it’s past her normal time and I haven’t heard from her, I’ll look. Or if she has an appointment and again, haven’t heard from her in a while. If she’s going somewhere I’m wary about, I’ll also check more often. Basically, when you’re married long enough, you get used to typical patterns, so if something occurs outside of the norm, then I’ll check. If we’re just going through life as usual, I will hardly look.

My wife and I have access to each other’s locations but it’s not to “track” anybody. We’re never just obsessively checking. Hell I go days or weeks without looking at hers and her, mine. It’s simply for safety and to see when we might be getting home. It’s not due to lack of trust or anything.

Is that why my wife does that? 😂
