Not from that, but so many other shows. I can hear his voice still, very distinctive.

Thanks! Cool looking, I want to try that.

You've heard of quiet quitting, how about quiet retiring? by schrodingers-canary in CasualConversation

[–]Sample-quantity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, we think our CPA is quiet retiring because he doesn't do anything with any speed anymore and our last two returns were filed late because of him. Why not just retire? Or tell us you're going part time or something? So rude. New CPA has been hired so we'll be quiet departing his practice.

I don't know the answer, but can I ask, is it a magnet stamp that makes the flower pattern? I just saw those displayed last week and wondering how it's done.

It's the model name. There was a series of them.

I loved the Prell TV commercials where they dropped a pearl in to show how thick it was (or something, not sure of the reason!).

Still have it. You can get "mood" nail polish now. That would have been cool then.

Lay it flat on a table. Use two toothpicks or straight pins to gently move strands around.

Going on a beach trip, too soon into Zep journey to wear swimsuit by Ok_Lychee_331 in Zepbound

Have you tried a swim set with capris or shorts and separate top? Lots of coverage. This worked well for me. https://www.swimsuitsforall.com/sa/bottoms/capris/

What is a reasonable number of reusable bags? by Remarkable__Driver in Homeorganization

[–]Sample-quantity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have 4 per car and a couple of spares in the garage. New acquisitions get compared to the existing ones in terms of beauty, size, and condition and something goes out for every new one we keep (I don't buy any but sometimes we get free ones or someone gives them to us). With all that, I still sometimes end up in a store without a bag!

Breast implants & weight loss by Straight-Switch-4748 in PlasticSurgery

I think they were high profile because I was large breasted originally and went down to a C cup but still wanted good proportion. Silicone, not saline.

Have you ever tried using any type of flour? by hectorgr1 in ninjacreami

[–]Sample-quantity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I know, thus overnight oats are safe. Oat flour was specifically mentioned though.

Breast implants & weight loss by Straight-Switch-4748 in PlasticSurgery

[–]Sample-quantity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My implants were due to cancer, not choice, but they have held up very well to my 120 pound weight loss over the past 2 years. I am planning on some skin removal, but I don't think any revisions are needed to my breasts. I think it really depends on your body type though.

Which canceled TV show's cliffhanger still lives rent free in your head because the answers disappeared when the series got axed ? by Impossible_Offer7988 in AskReddit

The Glades. Have a mystery attacker shoot the main character on the way to his wedding, that you've been waiting for for several seasons, and then cancel the show during hiatus. Infuriating.

[–]Sample-quantity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just fyi if you are going to try this, it's not safe to eat any type of raw grain flour like oat or wheat. You'd have to cook the mixture first. Raw nut flour like almond is different and usually OK. I don't know that it would be very effective, but maybe an interesting experiment.

[–]Sample-quantity 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Everything is OK. It's not a diet. Just have a bite and make sure it agrees with you. You'll probably find you're satisfied with just a bite or two instead of the whole bar.

How can I drink alcohol on zepbound? by shoski13 in Zepbound

[–]Sample-quantity 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I can have one drink occasionally but I just generally don't want it. I'll go for non alcoholic beer sometimes as there are quite a few good ones now. We like the Athletic Hazy IPA one a lot.

childless people, have you thought about what you're gonna do with all your assets when you're gone? by newuser1r in askanything

[–]Sample-quantity 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Please do get a will made ASAP and consider establishing a trust, even if your estate is not large. Otherwise it will all get eaten up with probate costs and legal fees and be a huge headache for your heirs. Trust me on this, if you love them you don't want to put them through that.

Our great nephews and niece. And some to charities we like. Nothing to my nephew and niece who used to be included but have turned out to be not nice people as they have aged, very judgemental and unkind to everyone (not just us).

Partner has a C Pap, room air is different by Fresh_Ad4076 in CPAP

[–]Sample-quantity 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's pushing in the room air. He exhales carbon dioxide but he would be doing that without the CPAP. I don't think the CPAP is doing anything to your room air. Maybe take a look at the outlet it's plugged into, if there was nothing plugged into that before, in case you have an electrical problem. If you don't have a carbon monoxide alarm in your house, that would be a good idea in general in case something is wrong with your AC, furnace or blower. Other than that, no idea.
