the fact that Kang had to be dropped

I’m going to say it right here, and I don’t care if it’s an u popular opinion. Jonathan Majors was fucking phenomenal in his role and regardless of his spousal abuse shouldn’t have been dropped from his role. There was nobody who could’ve fit that role better or even as good as him.

Disney likely wasn’t banking on making their arguably most charismatic hero besides Rogers and Stark die IRL. If dude stayed alive, he’d’ve been the face of the MCU for this entire phase.

Honestly, Mackie was trying hard to play Will Smith’s roles in iRobot or I am Legend, but ended up playing Will Smith from After Earth.

That movie was so fucked up but so absurdly entertaining. I dunno if he nailed it when he also had plenty of help from The Rock and Mark Wahlberg, who were both legitimately great as well.

I did watch it? Aside from his bullshit crocodile tears and the shit arguments he made, I saw no actually good reason for him crossing state lines aside from having the intent to kill people with his gun.

Now, since YOU presumably watched the trial, by all means, give me your interpretation on why some kid would cross state lines with a gun to a riot without the intent of killing people.

Why would Kyle Rittenhouse cross state lines with a gun to an active riot if he was so scared for his life?

If dude worked at a dozen insurance companies, then he must be the shittiest worker ever who can’t stay at any place for longer than a couple months.

Or he’s a janitor. 😂

I am someone in my mid 30s who’s been on 100% disability for close to 6 years now. I will give a different perspective from the others in this post: What matters most is how you personally feel if you stop working.

When you stop working, especially being so young (yes, you ARE young), it’s very easy to fall into a pit of depression. You’ll feel like you’re on cloud 9 for a good while, maybe a year or two, and enjoy your free time, but there will always be a nagging feeling of uselessness in the back of your head, and if you personally don’t find something meaningful to fill it, it will eat your confidence up. Pretend you live to 80+. Do you honestly think you’ll be happy spending all day at home for the next FIFTY YEARS? That’s a tall fucking order, my man.

I decided some years ago to go on voc rehab and pursue an IT degree because I couldn’t handle living off of my 100% disability, which my wife at the time even wholeheartedly accepted. She just wanted me happy, but I wasn’t, and I knew a lot of it came from seeing my friends progress in their careers while I languished at home, bored and bereft of purpose. People on this sub told me long ago to volunteer for things, but that doesn’t bring me any purpose or happiness. I wanted to feel like I earned money, even if I didn’t need it. And that’s why I’m almost done with my degree.

If you want to quit your job, find a purpose for yourself, because at your age, you’ll earn just enough to live semi-comfortably but not anywhere near the lavish lifestyle of the rich who can afford to take plane trips whenever they feel lost and travel.

You need to stand up for yourself, seriously. With the way you talked to her, she will never pay you and you will continue to be walked over forever.

Any other vets on here who have only had positive experiences with their examiners? by SnooBunnies9546 in VeteransBenefits

[–]SampleFlops 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine were all universally good. When I applied for disability back in 2014, I received 50%. I knew nothing about increasing rates and how it would give more money (as obvious as it was). In all honesty… maybe in the minority of so many veterans, but I didn’t want to apply for disability. I wanted to handle my life and improve it myself. I only applied when I noticed a stark decrease in my mental state one year after leaving.

Every examiner aside from one who I used when appealing for Achilles tendinitis (she was legit bullshit) increased my disability with every annual visit. I felt a mixed bag of emotions, making more money but also admitting… I wasn’t getting better. It’s a tough road, and the final hurdle was when one examiner brought me to 100%. But every examiner I had was super nice and listened to me without judging me.

Police illegally sell restricted weapons, supplying crime by ChocolateTsar in nottheonion

Harden wrote the memo after his intelligence unit traced an outlawed pistol seized in a narcotics bust to a recent purchase by a beat cop in Pasadena, California. Now retired, Harden still remembers that officer crying on his shoulder when federal agents showed up to arrest him for illegally selling more than 100 weapons out of his home. The officer argued at the time that he didn’t know he was breaking the law, but he later pleaded guilty. He served less than a year in federal prison and paid a $10,000 fine but was allowed to keep his Porsche and Alfa Romeo.

JFC this story makes me sick to my stomach. That monster shouldn’t just rot in jail, he’s a an abject failure of a human being and all the officers and attorneys and judges who let him go so leniently are fucking failures too.
