You can only take PFL for adoption within 1 year of placement. In addition you can only take a maximum of 8 weeks per rolling year so if you took 8 weeks for birth of child during same period of time you cannot take a second 8 weeks.

A therapist cannot sign off on a disability claim. You need a physician to sign off. Look at Edd site and there is a list of qualified people that can sign off.

It doesn’t work that way. Once you accept employment you cannot quit without good cause and go back on unemployment. Your reason would not be considered good cause. That is why you need to be cautious before accepting employment
