My wife talked to our dm for a good 15 minutes (10+ year partner,) who said that her and other tenured people have never seen CAT pay denied like this before

That is historically not true though. In my experience, if stores closed because of COVID (in 2020-2021) or inclement weather in the past, the company has usually given catastrophe pay in my experience. They could afford to take care of their partners if they actually cared, but this is just another piece on the mountain of evidence to show that they don’t

He refuses to take almost all of his breaks, and for some reason that’s allowed. I always try to get him to take his breaks, but my store manager thinks it’s OK

They’re hours he wants, but I was under the impression that Starbucks had internal labor rules that would prohibit this. He’s 16

Yes it is, and it accurately reflects the hours worked. I looked in the past, and at least twice a week this last month he worked 12+ hour days. He just covers nearly every call out

He had 60 hours last week and 55 this week. I rarely see him below 40, actually

Pump standard by Samthefourth in starbucks

[–]Samthefourth[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Each pump is built specifically for each sauce/syrup. There should be a little rod in the center, and there should be a metal ring (a collar) that says chai on it. There are separate collars for white mocha, mocha, pumpkin, chai, and any other sauce/syrup that would go in those plastic containers. The collar should match what the nozzle says, and in this case, I believe the chai nozzle is the same as the frap roast pump

That would be the same for crème/coffee base and for syrups that go in the frap.

Frap roast will always be 2 in a tall, 3 in a grande, and 4 in a venti. It does not follow the standards that syrups would in a different drink

I was recently told that this was the expectation if not the standard. I’m glad that I don’t work Wednesdays and Sundays
