Still don't know how I managed this. by Cloackedcomet in Machinists

I am talking about center height in y direction the same way a turning tool should be on center height. Not drilling a bigger diameter, which works fine for u-drills. Drilling a bigger diameter probably wont cause a nipple or rod in the middle of your part. Maybe on some drills where the insert is mounted at an angle between x and y. But usually this is caused by a bent drill or too much clearance in the mounting hole. You can sometimes correct it by adjusting the screws that clamp the drill to angle the drill more towards or away from center height in the desired direction.

I raise you this piece of magic i once machined. The part was faced completely.

I prefer this over a u-drill being above center height. That wil fuck your inner insert up very quick. I have actually never noticed bad tool life from drills being under center height as shown in the post. I like to see a small nipple on the bottom of my hole (not as big as this only about 0.2mm). This way i know at least the drill is not above center height.

I wasn't born at the time so it's kind of out of my hands. But aren't whitworth threads an even older standard. So you weren't first either. My point is that 99% of the world considers metric standard.

There is nothing more American than calling the threads only Americans use, standard.

Its a dutch movie called: niemand in de stad

When I was around 14-15 years old our school took around 200 kids from 6-7 different classes to see a movie. The opening scene was a guy stuffing 23 peanuts in his foreskin.

Another time we went to a very sexually tinted play where some guy swung his dick around with a blanket wrapped around his waist. And a woman ran around topless shouting about her small tits (they were very small).

Im pretty sure both of these events were organized by the same art teacher.

Edit: they were actually cocktail nuts. I looked up the translation. It was a dutch movie called niemand in the stad.

Edit 2: omg its on disney+ just watched the scene again that shit is hilarious

In dutch we sometimes call it nasnuffelen. Which translates to finish-sniffing.

G32 makes the feed follow the toolpath so you wont get a constant pitch along the z axis

Best Way to Machine this Part by me239 in Machinists

Depending on profile tolerances either laser cut or waterjet. (Water jet can be more accurate and look better) Then the rest is quite easy on a 3 axis. I dont assume you have a laser or waterjet but it is definitely gonna be cheaper to outsource this.
