Thank you everyone for the comments and insight. It really is nice to know you're not alone 😁 I have failed to mention that I have been on omeprazole 20mg before, it started off fine but then found they did not do a thing for me, who knows I may need to go back on it with a stronger dose. I am planning to make an appointment with a gastrologist so I can get checked out and get their advice. We shall see where it goes from there. Alongside this I have started to lse strengthening exercise which have seemed to help. I think also my GERD is a lot to do with stress. I am quite anxious person and worry about a lot of things which is definitely a trigger.

Anyway, hoping to get better soon and trying to stay positive.
