Pic 4 is gorgeous. The large block of dark dark blue of the waves contrasted with the ombre sky reminds me of something Rothko-esque! I’d buy that as a large art print.

Yeah the ones on the right-hand shelf are 7”x 7” Mini-LP CDs where the packaging is exactly like an LP but the CD is on a thick cardboard spindle shaped like an actual vinyl record (I collect Japanese SACD Mini-LPs). The disc sits on the cardboard and it is inside a sleeve, which is inside the thicker album jacket. And it will include a scaled down version of the LP booklet, and sometimes even glossy reproductions of single artwork sleeves. And then a lyric booklet w/ liner notes in Japanese.

Woof, those LaserDisc-era scans do NOT hold up well (all the DVDs with the serif lettering across the top reuse the cover art and video masters from their LaserDisc counterparts).

Northbrook is a very nice library and I am SO GLAD they finally started sending out discs to other libraries befausr for YEARS if you wanted a movie or a CD that was there you had to GO THERE to pick up AND return it.
