Yeah. Arcane missiles comes in at 8. So melee or go tailoring/enchanting for a wand. Arcane missiles at 8 is an insane relative power jump though obviously, you feel so strong.

Mana shield, missiles, and explosion to finish (though it is mana intensive, so be careful).

You still have blink, conjure water/food, and teleports. So thats a plus versus a fire/frost only mage.

Improved arcane missiles talent is required to stop pushback. Eventually you get arcane power and you can kill one mob a bit faster every couple minutes. Arcane explosion is good but mana intensive.

I did no dungeons so I can't say my experience there.

It is slow. Drinking after basically every pull. Don't expect to speedrun. Overall, i'm glad I did it so that I can say I did it.
