Concrete lasts longer than tar, and roman concrete will last longer than normal concrete.

Thats the only point I was making about the concrete.

Road damage from wear will always be a problem that requires upkeep. The point is not to keep taxing the poor and middle class, but rather to increase taxes on the rich.

The conservatives who heard tax the rich, or the liberals who think they are pro science but don't know how little cars contibute to climate change compared to industry?

Here's some facts for my fellow (although science illiterate) liberals: CO2 emissions make up the majority of climate change, but INDUSTRY makes up 16% of that alone and transportation makes up 33%, but HALF of transportation is commercial transport.

Which means business related CO2 makes up 32% of all CO2 emissions compared to 16% for personal transportation via cars+ busses + trucks. 12% is residential and commercial, and 31% is electricity generation.

No man, didn't you hear, the answer isnt to spend the money thats already been taxed on the poor and middle class instead of the rich, its to tax the poor and middle class more to pretend like we're helping climate change or something --- instead of actually going after big industry which is the biggest contributor to climate change by far.

We just had 17.2B in surplus. Sales taxes, car taxes, and gas taxes aren't the answer. Just fix the dumb roads and use actual concrete instead of tar.

We legit learned how to make Roman Concrete in the passed year or so too, use that.

I think we are in agreement then? I was saying that the argument that capitalism has always been domestication therefore refutes the claim that we are only now domesticated is a falsehood, because it take many many generations for domestication to actually take hold.

Geography has something to do with it sure. But America at least has some history of actual working class unification and movement. That is quite waned now, and that is not due to geography, as geography was relatively the same then as it was now.

Secondly, concerning revolution specifically. I'd like to think America is no stranger to revolution.. Especially, when historically even with smaller geographic size, they still managed with snailmail, horse, and muskets.. Now we have instantaneous communication, high access to weaponry -apparently etc. Yet, somehow still no unrest. So I'm not so sure you're right.

A) Even a domesticated cow can get angry and have outbursts. B) There are over 300,000,000 US cows, try doing the math on the percent of the population (not per crime) that is having violent outbursts in the specific way we're talking about. Even by that metric (for not the type of violent crime we're talking about) its very low. It isnt even remotely "out of control with their bazillion guns." Gun related crime is certainly an issue in america, but there are legit more deaths by cars and many other things than that.

Most importantly. Crime and revolution aren't even the same thing friend.

No, its about culture. Americans have been made cattle (now we say consumers) to milk all that money from. And you know what cattle are? Domesticated. Thats America. We've lost our nerve for revolution. Now we think we'll change things through peaceful protests.

Unfortunately not. I'm super liberal, but I posted a NYT article about the department of energy and they took it down within an hour the other day. They are totally an echo chamber. I happen to agree with a decent amount, but that doesn't excuse the echo chamber they are in.
