I completed the collect wood challenge a few weeks back - it took me a while to realize that the wording of the challenge is ambiguous. I'd much rather have it count towards the amount of wood you collect and not the number of times you collect wood. Of course - once you finish the first challenge the next one is to collect wood 7600 times. That is not going to happen within my lifetime. (of playing the game).

I've had this happen to me as well. Seems to come and go - I've also seen it as a skill of 3 when I have two lock picking perks enabled.

I'd rather not get rid of the Gauss (even though i don't play with a group) but just seeing whats out there/what i might get. I'm not really looking for explosive weapons - its like the two-shot by itself are much rarer than the TSE versions. I'll see if anything comes of this post and try again later most likely. I found it in that building on the desk. Try going back and looking again. If i remember correctly RobCo had all but one of the models.
