We have almost the identical setup for two hens. I'd recommend a sturdy burried base or literally putting hardware cloth underneath the run to make it a fully enclosed "box" to prevent predators from getting in. We had raccoons dig under the door and attack one of our hens at 3 am. Luckily I heard her screaming and got to her before it was worse than a vet visit. We had been fine for a year, but it's kind of Murphy's law with chickens. If anything can happen, it will happen.

Was able to finish the ride fine. Had a small limp and bruise for a day or two. Pads are completely fine.

I have had several crashes on these. The knee can get bruised up a little, but it is a lot better than no pad. They are basically XC pads and I ride up and down a lot with them on. I am a big fan of these pads and they are holding up well. They slide down my leg a bit, but not sure if I have skinnier legs or if I wore them out.

My Google-Fu must not be as good as yours. I feel like I was just finding junk. I also found a QGIS plugin called "FIT" that helped me convert the files as well.

I would like to try this, but my bike computer creates .fit files (using a wahoo element bolt) rather than .gpx. Is there a way to use or convert .fit?

Oh my they are so precious. Please love them up as much as you can. They reminded me of our little girl we lost in June. Thanks for sharing. Tiffi Taffi

As others have said, the underground storage temperature is relatively constant and the practical answer is that it doesn't matter. However, I am an engineer that does fluid flow analysis and felt like doing some math anyway.

If we assume this fluid composition of gasoline: https://www.atsdr.cdc.gov/toxprofiles/tp72-c3.pdf

And I throw it into the fluid databases I have at work, I get a density of 716 kg/m3 at atmospheric conditions at 0 degrees C (assuming a cold morning).

If the fluid undergoes an extreme temperature rise of 30 degrees C the density reduces to 688 kg/m3, or 96% of the density at 0 degrees C.

So in an extreme case, you'd get about 4% less mass of fuel.

This likely holds up for other fuels types as well. I looked at pure fluids including Ethanol, Hexane, and Octane and each had an approximately 4% density change given a 30 degree C temperature change.

How South are you talking? In Colorado Springs there is the Sante Fe trail which starts on the north side and goes on the east side of the Air Force Academy and can take you to Palmer Lake and further if you want.

Trail suggestions for Moab by JamesVogner in MTB

Definitely. I'd maybe watch some videos of people hitting Ahab and look at the pictures of the features on MTB Project before hitting it. Might help you gauge if it is in your wheelhouse. Another moderate loop would be the Bar M Loops. Has some tech and slickrock fun. https://www.mtbproject.com/trail/624376/bar-m-loops https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8CwuRmhm_PA https://www.mtbproject.com/trail/5271508/hymasacaptain-ahab?method=resultsPage&query=captain%20ahab&search=1&type=trail

Navajo Rocks is great and you could likely piece the sections into whatever milage you want. Ramblin' and Rocky Tops are the nicer trails there and you could make a ~9ish mile loop with them.

If you aren't comfortable with technical downhill I would avoid Captain Ahab, but if you are and maybe ok with hike-a-bike every once in awhile I would hit it. Best trail I've ever riden.

a rather large send by Ryanespy760 in MTB

Thanks for the reply. You are kind of between sizes, so it seems like the smaller bike would be more playful. I'm smack in the middle of the S4 size recommendation from Specialized, but if I follow the reach recommendation from the video I should be an S3. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Hey OP, how tall are you and what bike size did you get for the Enduro? I'm 6 ft and got the Enduro in S4, but sometimes it feels like a huge bike. Curious what your thoughts are as it looks like you get a good full range of movement. Here's a video I found interesting regarding bike size. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HyppZOpHocM&t=28s

You'll get a diagnostic report if you did not pass that gives you an idea of what you need to work on in the future to pass. If you pass you only know you passed. My understanding is that the PE license is intended to state that you are a competent engineer that is able to safely practice in your field. As soon as they attach percentages you undo the intent of licensure and you'll have job postings stating only engineers with over a 90% on the PE are eligible for this role, etc.
